Haz Beanz shot the lights out against a helpless Mudflaps who took another loss sliding a little further in rank on the ladder. Elliot J pulling up Js from the around the paint and beyond resulting in 16 points to lead all scorers and get the win . Azza P kept his average up there for the season with a nice 14 points worth of buckets in the win. whilst on the other team, Carlson H got the game high in points outscoring everyone with 17 points on the sheet , Tarrant S got a few buckets to go helping out the team with 10 point game this time around. Game started close…but the Defending champs kept bombing away and the bigs ones that mattered fell in to outdo the Mudflaps…just short again!
Pistons took the game second half from the MIC in a game that started close but ended one sided. Conor who finished the game with a commendable 23 points to his name as he helps lead the boys to a much needed win. . Dan Muller also helped out in the win with 20 points to get over the line. Despite a good effort by the other team as Dendi couldnt miss much as he led his team with 16 points but that wasnt enough to get his team over the line this time. Pistons keep the inside passing active and the MIB crew couldn’t stop it as they allowed too many second chance points and let 1 too many in side passes for easy layups, MIC go down this time, Pistons strong in this one.
Miami Vice got a good win on the Blouses who havnt been themselves lately. Cam H Snapping the wrist to perfection finding the bottom of the net for 17 points to get over the line. Dan W getting some fadeaways to fall to contribute to the result with 16 points to lead to victory. Which for this game outshines the effort of, Vince getting stats from everywhere including 19 points but that wasnt enough to get his team over the line this time. Matt Harro played well as far as getting 17 point performance. Vice attacked the Midrange and pushed it inside as their shooters got things going, Blouses were constant int heir attack but couldn’t close out on a few plays turning the ball over to an unanswered bucket….next time!
Div 2 was even more action packed!
Pink Bits werent going to stand down against Sneaky Prawns and set the tone from the start, big mentions to the performers in this game. Aaron J let it fly and hit more than missed with 24 points to ensure they get the win this round. Kevin J who ended up with an efficient 10 points on the sheet even though from the other team, Vikas C was heating up as he bagged 10 points, needing a few more to scrape the W. Duck Prodigy had its sights set on Kmart Kids in a back and forth game holding the crowd in suspense Luke got the game high in points outscoring everyone with 19 points as he was operating in automatic mode . Eric H helped out with the load getting 15 points on the sheet the only resistance coming from, Cam F scored well but it wasnt enough as he notched 17 points together as they go down in this matchup. Jonah M pitched in to add to the score with, 15 points in the loss . Duck Prodigy first ever win in UBL, great to get that one out of the way as they were able to come together and make some shots to lead to the eventual W. Kmart kids have been steadily improving but just shot on this one.
Gongstars needed someone to step up and hit the game winner against New Bee in a grind of a game coming right down to the last few minutes to decide the winner. Alex P weaved through the zone D with some nice footwork finishing on 25 big ones to conlclude the mission . Andrei A also helped out in the win with 10 points in this game. Whilst on the other team, Coung L started scoring later in the game but ended up on 14 points but that wasnt enough to get his team over the line this time. Albert 12 & Zeyu played well as far as getting 12 points as he pitched in to add to the score. This one was close but not without an amazing finish from Russ F with a turn back the clock move to a filo style scoop layup which hit high glass then danced around the rim as time expired….the crowd went nuts as the game winner fell….AND1!! putting Gongstars 2 points up and the win!! Great last play! Never to veteran to be clutch!
#talktomebro knew what they had to do against Nothing but Pockets in a clinic, taking advantage of lesser defensive matchup. Connor M getting stats from everywhere including 15 points to his name as he helps lead the boys to a much needed win. Dan M took a back seat to scoring, but not by much getting 12 points to end his game which simply outscored the other teams leaders being, Ali M had the licence to shoot and put them up to end on 16 points to lead all scorers and get the win , Lachy played well as far as getting 8 points helping out with the teams offensive load. Ttmbro with another blowout win….Pockets had…..pockets of greatness with some nice plays but the polished passing of ttmbro just too much..
