Div 1 is teeming with skillful players ready to do battle, and battle was done this round with some close ones and some that took a while to sort itself out!
Pistons got a good win on the Blouses and it went to plan as they got a W on the backs of their scorers. Reggie K getting stats from everywhere including 15 points to ensure they get the win this round. Peter T couldnt miss much as he led his team with 13 points worth of buckets in the win. whilst on the other team, Vince was unconscious and had no remorse for the defense piling in 17 points on the sheet , Jerome started scoring later in the game but ended up on 8 points to end his game… Blouses looking strong but Pistons was able to edge them out on some late game heroics, Pistons just on the verge of 1st but slightly behind, Blouses startin to get some runs on the board…
Haz Beanz went back and forth but held the lead most of the game against MIC and pushed it all the way to the end. Azza P with an epic performance and great score of 22 points to shut the defense down. . Joe 12 & Andy K also helped out in the win with 12 points to ensure they get the win this round. Despite a good effort by the other team as Dendi played well as far as getting 19 points recorded by the bench , Gao 10 & Shuix kept his eye on the hoop and ended up with 10 points helping out with the teams offensive load. Has Beanz were undermanned but so was MIC, with some team work winnign the day, the hot shooting of MIC wasn’t enough to topple the system of the Has Beanz!
Mudflaps ,right out of the gates, jumped on the Miami Vice and hustled harder getting the W. T Rhodes channelled Kobe and wanted the win this time, getting 29 big ones to conlclude the mission . W Farrar took a back seat to scoring, but not by much getting 11 points worth of buckets in the win. Pink Bits got a good win on the Fun Guys , who underestimated the hustle of their opponent and copped a loss for it Jethro focussed on the W, summoned his hustle to put in work for 20 points to ensure they get the win this round. . Kev 14 & Barry kept his eye on the hoop and ended up with 14 points on the sheet the only resistance coming from, Lachlan M 4 & Cameron F in a great team effort, scored the same amount with 4 points from all over the court. , Jonah also helped out in the win with 4 points in the loss . Pink Bits on a tear and up on top of the Div with no losses, Fun Guys just overwhelmed by the size and pace of the Pink Bits, their chemistry not strong enough this round…
Sneaky Prawns stood to face Towradgi Rattlesnakes and went back to the locker room with a solid Win. Mitch had a pretty good game scoring wise with 22 points to ensure they get the win this round. Kieran K was feeling good with 11 points in this game. Whilst on the other team, Henry E who ended up with an efficient 18 points together as they go down in this matchup. Jackson L played well as far as getting 11 points as he pitched in to add to the score. Last game and it was close to start but with some big moves and plays in the 40 minutes, Prawns got out to the race and kept a lead while Rattlesnakes 3s couldn’t catch up to in this game…
