Gongstar almost not able to overcome the size on the defenders in the paint so they went to the break and did it well, Sharks just not able to keep up the buckets on some 50 50 loose balls falling short as Gongstar scrambled back to cover, the banter went back and forth, challenges taken, 3s hit and benches silenced…rivalry in the making!
Towradgi Rattlesnakes stood to face Nothing but Pockets and was victorious this round, thanks to some players putting in work. Whilst on the other team, Hugo had a pretty good game scoring wise with 11 points, needing a few more to scrape the W. Doug got to good spots on the court and shot well with 11 points as he pitched in to add to the score. Pockets unable to pull together a last play to get a chance to put the game away, The Rattlesnakes getting it going in spurts enough to get a hard enough W over a strong starting pockets crew!
New Bee went back and forth but held the lead most of the game against Fun Guys in a physical matchup that will set the tone for next time. Ming was unconscious and had no remorse for the defense piling in 16 points, a much needed performance as they won the scoring matchup against the other teams leading man.
