Pistons , the current Div 1 champs, werent going to stand down against #talktomebro, the Div 2 champs, in a game that started close but ended one sided. Tim S got the game high in points outscoring everyone with 19 big ones to conlclude the mission Greg M Snapping the wrist to perfection finding the bottom of the net for 17 points on the sheet even though from the other team, Jed P pushed the break and went home with a tidy 15 points which was required to keep up in this hectic game. Dan M 10 M Keats had his back with a 10 points as he pitched in to add to the score. Pistons too strong on the defensive end and some unlucky turns resulted in TTMBs first loss in a while and first loss in Div 1! Haz Beanz needed someone to step up and hit the game winner against Miami Vice in a physical matchup that will set the tone for next time. Elliot J led all scorers on a solid 23 points and the game winning shot near the end of regulation. Jethro had a pretty good game scoring wise with 12 points on the sheet the only resistance coming from, Sam M played well as far as getting 18 points as he was operating in automatic mode , Jesse played hard and got the same score on the sheet, with 16 points in the loss . Has BEanz a close close first game with old rivals, and now renewed rivals Miami Vice! With Sam back in the mix the Vice crew had a great game leading until Elliot was awakened in his best game this season. Elliot scored the lsat 7 or 9 points for Has Beanz including a game winning Buzzer beater after a full court lob to win the game! AMZING finish, so clutch! But has BEAnz better watch out, Vice was just unlucky in this one.
Pink Bits had better offense than the defense of their opponent, Gongstar who werent ready for them this game. Aaron J had the licence to shoot and put them up to end on 19 points to ensure they get the win this round. Whilst on the other team, Dan M scored well but it wasnt enough as he notched 11 points, needing a few more to scrape the W. Great Sharks got a good first ever win on the forever hustling Fun Guys in a game that started close but ended one sided. Luke was unconscious and had no remorse for the defense piling in 14 points, a much needed performance as they won the scoring matchup against the other teams leading man. Cameron F was feeling good with 9 points helping out with the teams offensive load. Great Sharks starting to get going early game and keep the Fun Guys at bay and hold out for a hard fought win, the back and forth was a good display of hustle but the Sharks kept their structure and was able to get the W by the final horn.
Sneaky Prawns shot the lights out against a helpless Nothing but Pockets undermanned but pumped up for the challenge. Vikas C let it fly and hit more than missed with 14 points to ensure they get the win this round. Mitch also helped out in the win with 12 points to get over the line. simply out working the other scorers being, Lachlan couldnt miss much as he led his team with 16 point game to contribute to his teams effort. , Lochie was feeling good with 9 points in the loss . Prawns playing strong and got the jump on Pockets by half time extending the lead to 11+ by the games end. Prawns outlasting the Pockets down the stretch.
