The other teams' top scorers were; Curt Leman ( 19 ) , & David G & Jason T ( 7ea ) . Zach H's explosive performance propelled Gongstar to a 55-45 victory over the Mudflaps GOLD, as he poured in 26 points, including four three-pointers that showcased his sharpshooting prowess. The game featured a back-and-forth battle in the first half, with Curt Leman of Mudflaps GOLD matching H's intensity by scoring 19 points, demonstrating his ability to drive the lane and hit crucial free throws. While Gongstar's offense thrived with contributions from Hamza, who added 16 points with a trio of three-pointers, it was the defensive tenacity that made the difference. The Mudflaps struggled to contain Gongstar’s perimeter shooting, particularly in the second half, where Zach H’s scoring burst helped create a gap that the GOLD could not close despite their late-game efforts. D dazzled the crowd with 19 points, including a series of seven two-pointers that consistently kept Rust-Eze on their heels. The first half saw a flurry of back-and-forth action, highlighted by Yifan Xu's sharpshooting for Rust-Eze, who drained four three-pointers to total 12 points, but it wasn't enough to overcome the offensive pressure exerted by Happy Endings. As the game unfolded, Rust-Eze fought valiantly, with Jake Friend contributing 8 points and Fill In adding 7, but crucial fouls and missed opportunities ultimately sealed their fate. This matchup not only showcased the teams' struggles but also ignited a rivalry that promises to heat up in future encounters.
