UBL TUESDAYs has returned!!! Season 11 resumes for its ROUND 4 and the ballers turned up and got back to business, the big shots piled in and some nice games including a huge game winner at the buzzer in Div2!!
Div 1 games were interesting and a good indication of whos been putting in work over the break, some slight adjustments and the scoring was back at the elilte Div1 Tuesday level!
The Bandwagoners started strong and got the jump on Top Gunz couldnt stop the unselfish offense they were faced with this game. Izaak W slotted in some 3s with some tidy finishes also to get 17 points to ensure they get the win this round. . Lachy CR focussed on the W, summoned his hustle to put in work for 9 points worth of buckets in the win. whilst on the other team, Brent H couldnt be stopped this game, and couldnt be contained, the D had no answer as he scored a whopping 21 points on the sheet , Doug K had the licence to shoot and put them up to end on 12 points but that wasnt enough to get his team over the line this time. Bandwagoners left it till late to get things done, Top Gunz keeping up with the red team with their hot shooting especially from Harro who kept up the pace right till the end where a few unanswered buckets were put in by Bandwagoners sending Top GUnz back to the lockers room with an L for the return, but not by much at all!
Chargers knew what to expect when they faced FAC in a game that started close but ended one sided. Reggie K channelled Kobe and wanted the win this time, getting 21 points to shut the defense down. . Matty B got to good spots on the court and shot well with 6 points, a much needed performance as they won the scoring matchup against the other teams leading man. Despite a good effort by the other team as Oscar S put in some big numbers and got the game high in points notching an impressive 23 points recorded by the bench , Zoran M just too much experience shooting the 3 with 17 points helping out with the teams offensive load. . Chargers off to the races, but not till later in the game when they started getting hot from everywhere, and the bigs were cleaning up the misses, leaving the weary FAC to try cover the gap with 3s which Zoran helped out with , but it was too little too late and FAC go down to the reigning champs!
Double Dunkers took the game second half from the Multiple Scoregasm and was able to get the much needed win. Peter T getting stats from everywhere including 14 point game to contribute to his teams effort. . Tim was heating up as he bagged 14 points worth of buckets in the win. Which for this game outshines the effort of, Ali M slotted in some 3s with some tidy finishes also to get 15 points worth of buckets in the loss.. , Brayden 6 & James played well as far as getting 6 points on the sheet . Double Ds back in the Winniners circle as they put away the Scorgasms late game, hot shooting from Tim outside as Cj ran the break to tire the opponents, Scorgasms just unlucky on this one losing the late stages of the 2nd to the quick buckets from Double Dunkers who sit in equal 2nd, MS in 3rd place ready to climb to the top!
Div 2 teams were keen to get amongst it again, as the break was good for the veterans, but made most players hungry for buckets. And it showed, with some big wins and a big time finish in one game!
Wyangal Pirates shot the lights out against a helpless Bricklayers and it went to plan as they got a W on the backs of their scorers. Nick B was stroking it with ease from all parts of the arc. 31 points, a much needed performance as they won the scoring matchup against the other teams leading man. . Alex B let it fly and hit more than missed with 11 points on the sheet even though from the other team, Mitch J couldnt miss much as he led his team with 10 points but a loss unfortunately , Ethan B the recipient of some nice extra passes for open shots getting him 9 points helping out with the teams offensive load. . Pirates keeping their 1st rank after this win, as they put the Bricklayers to bed with some outside shooting and fast break scoring that has gotten them some good momentum carried from last season. Bricklayers still looking to get chemistry as they go have some great plays each game but just cant close out the game in this one.
The Whoopsy Fudge Stripes needed someone to step up and hit the game winner against Dream Team couldnt stop the unselfish offense they were faced with this game. Lach W Popping up some well timed floaters in the lane getting numbers, with 19 points to get over the line. . Liam C finished the game with a commendable 15 points worth of buckets in the win. the only resistance coming from, Drew T was heating up as he bagged 10 points helping out with the teams offensive load. , Nathan D played well as far as getting 9 points but a loss unfortunately . Whoopsey were trying to keep up with Dream Team as the back and forth buckets were happening all game. It was a great game for everyone as the last minutes the Dream team stayed strong and were up by 2 by the final moments, with only seconds left on an give and go 1-2 play, Liam C put in an amazing ice cold 3 pointer from the 45 leaving the Dream Teams head hanging. A huge moment on the season return, Whoopsey in 1st place, and Dream team in 3rd after this heartbreaking loss.
Cream City werent going to stand down against Ultra Instinct and set the tone from the start, big mentions to the performers in this game. Trent F was unconscious and had no remorse for the defense piling in 24 points to ensure they get the win this round. . Aidan pushed the break and went home with a tidy 14 points in this game. Whilst on the other team, Jamie S kept his average up there for the season with a nice 14 points but a loss unfortunately , Jordan P had a pretty good game scoring wise with 9 points as he pitched in to add to the score. . Ultra were hungry to get this one, with their new threads, they looked to take out the Cream City crew who have been ballin and taking the div by storm with their quick fast breaks and efficiency down low. They sit in equal first as Ultra are in equal 3rd hungry for that streak!
Fighting Mongooses had better offense than the defense of their opponent, Heat Check who struggled to break the defense to get buckets. Matty B beasted hard this game finishing on a great 19 big ones to conlclude the mission . Zac kept his average up there for the season with a nice 17 points on the sheet which simply outscored the other teams leaders being, Speedy had the licence to shoot and put them up to end on 13 points recorded by the bench , Tyla T felt it was time to step up and got 11 points helping out with the teams offensive load. . Mongooses getting it done later in the game after putting up some strong run in the 2nd half. Heat check looked a little rusty with some 3 bombs not falling this time, Mongooses took it to the paint and got the Win this time and the 2nd place. Heat check in 5th in their return the court.

Div 3 had some very close games, and other games that were just close at times, then the off season form showed as the ballers pushed their cardio limits!

Ethan P weaved through the zone D with some nice footwork finishing on 7 points to get over the line. simply out working the other scorers being, Jack S with an epic performance and great score of 16 points in this game. , Sam B played well as far as getting 13 points in the loss . FIghting ducks drop their first game this season after winning 3 in a row. This game was close and each bucket was answered by the Ducks most game, but down low they weren’t able to pull in the extra boards to get put backs and the advantage. Love Handles looked in form and pushed the break and the ball inside and also hit a few threes to claim the win this time. Both teams now equal 1st with each other in this very even match!
PuntHub grinded out a win in back and forth match vs Fun Guys in a loud and hectic game keeping refs active and players tense. Black W was heating up as he bagged 8 points in the big dominating victory. combining for a a good total to out do the eventual defeated, whos scorers were; Justin F had a pretty good game scoring wise with 10 points but a loss unfortunately , Cam F got to good spots on the court and shot well with 8 points worth of buckets in the loss.. . Punthub kept their composure late game especially in the last minute as they tried to keep their small lead and get free throws to close it out in garbage time, which they did! The chippy game was intense and started to level out as the buckets were falling. Some big shots by Punthub to get ahead late and now take 2nd rank with the Fun guys as well.
Parrots knew what to expect when they faced Feel Team 6 in a game that had the winners go on scoring runs that werent answered in time. N Dunstan couldnt miss much as he led his team with 14 points worth of buckets in the win. . Liam TR had his back with a 11 point performance. simply taking over and stifling most of their scorers expect for, Cody C let it fly and hit more than missed with 14 points recorded by the bench , Braiden Z scored well with 4 points but a loss unfortunately .Parrots get this one in the bag on a special game as their captain Liam puts his UBL career on pause as they took down Feel Team 6 who needed a few more ballers to step up and get some buckets and chase the lead that Parrots kept. Cody was a beast in the paint, unstoppable, but Parrots had more experience and their shots got them the W.
