Div 1 starts off the reviews and we had some players step up big time this round, with 2 big scores ana clutch game winner in one game!
Chargers got a good win on the Double Dunkers in a game that started close but ended one sided. Reggie K got the game high in points outscoring everyone with 21 points to ensure they get the win this round. . Matty B pushed the break and went home with a tidy 18 points worth of buckets in the win. whilst on the other team, Jed P just too much experience around the paint getting 18 points on the sheet , John F slotted in some 3s with some tidy finishes also to get 7 points but that wasnt enough to get his team over the line this time. This game was the battle for 2nd as the 2 teams clawing for the top ranks have to face off again this week and it went the Chargers way once Reggie stepped on the court, the one man wrecking crew taking over, and with Matty pushing the break, there wasn’t much Double Ds could do to slow the attack despite a great game by Jed around the paint. Double Ds in equal 3rd now and 2nd rank for Chargers after this one!
The Bandwagoners shot the lights out against a helpless Multiple Scoregasm who always bring their game. Izaak W couldnt be stopped this game, and couldnt be contained, the D had no answer as he scored a whopping 31 points to shut the defense down. . Josh H was stroking it with ease from all parts of the arc. 23 points, a much needed performance as they won the scoring matchup against the other teams leading man. Despite a good effort by the other team as Brayden couldnt miss much as he led his team with 14 points recorded by the bench , Aidan & James UC combined jersey numbers and scores to put in 13 points helping out with the teams offensive load. The Bandwagoners snap their 5 game losing streak! Multiple Scoregasm looking to get on a win streak and this was their chance, but it was spoilt by Izaaks big night, his text book fundamentals in full effect and running a super efficient game inside and out to push the Bandwagoners ahead. Multiple Scoregasm did well in spurts but the usual scoring wasn’t as on point this game. The perimeter D not enough to stop Josh Hs hot shooting 7 from deep…Bandwagoners in 5th and MS in 6th!
Top Gun Agents Crew (TGAC) put the ball in the hot hand and summoned some clutch factor against Aces in a grind of a game coming right down to the last few minutes to decide the winner. Eddie L channelled Kobe and wanted the win this time, getting 23 point game to contribute to his teams effort. . Brent H had the licence to shoot and put them up to end on 13 points worth of buckets in the win. Which for this game outshines the effort of, Miles put in some big numbers and got the game high in points notching an impressive 24 points worth of buckets in the loss.. , Fola pulling up Js from the around the paint and beyond resulting in 19 points on the sheet . TGAC still top rank as they defend it well with some big time luck mixed in! Aces came out firing, their usual energy still getting the job done as they stay active in the mid court as well as down low to push TGAC to their limits. Miles was huge all game and Fola just unstoppable but it all came down to the last minute. A Chain of events had them tied, and TGAC got the ball to the Accountant, who calculated a show which had ice cold written all over it. He hit the shot with almost no time left, Aces last shot just short with not enough tie on the clock to set up a proper play. Aces looking to jump ranks very soon watch out for this team! TGAC is in 1st!
Div 2 action had some results which were on its head, the odds changed up b y the half time siren as some teams got hot at the start and tried to keep it going in the 2nd.
Heat Check went back and forth but held the lead most of the game against The Whoopsy Fudge Stripes and treated it like a playoff game Jake E let it fly and hit more than missed with 13 points in the big dominating victory. . Speedy started scoring later in the game but ended up on 11 points to get over the line. but on the other side Liam C got the game high in points outscoring everyone with 20 points as he was operating in automatic mode , Paul R kept his eye on the hoop and ended up with 11 points together as they go down in this matchup. Heat Check were due for a good win and this time was their chance as they faced the top team, a statement win for them as Heat Check snap their 5 game losing streak by 3 points in a game that was anyones to take in the final few minutes. Speedy hit 2 big dagger 3s late in the scoring run to jump ahead and give Whoopsey their 2nd loss of the season but they still are 1st in rank and Heat check in equal 5th.
Dream Team took the game second half from the Wyangal Pirates , who underestimated the hustle of their opponent and copped a loss for it Nathan D with an epic performance and great score of 14 points, a much needed performance as they won the scoring matchup against the other teams leading man. . Grant O 8 & Mitch P played hard and got the same score on the sheet, with 8 points on the sheet even though from the other team, Nick B Snapping the wrist to perfection finding the bottom of the net for 17 points but a loss unfortunately , Sam B had his ducks in a line with a great game on 9 points helping out with the teams offensive load. . Dream Team had their sights locked in and all players were on point with their game as they knew Wyangal Pirates are a big team with a great record.Dream Team had Nate get fired up with some big buckets to ignite the offence and the rest was all team basketball, Wyangal Pirates had their usual big 3s from Nick too, but the inside game was undervalued and that’s where Dream Team took advantage to win this one and sit in 4th to Wyangal Pirates rank of equal 2nd.
Bricklayers knew what they had to do against Ultra Instinct in a game that had the winners go on scoring runs that werent answered in time. Ethan B channelled Kobe and wanted the win this time, getting 13 points to get over the line. . Neale P 12 Nathan R weaved through the zone D with some nice footwork finishing on 11 points worth of buckets in the win. the only resistance coming from, Jordan P got the game high in points outscoring everyone with 14 points helping out with the teams offensive load. , Jake P played well as far as getting 9 points but a loss unfortunately . Bricklayers taking it up a notch and come alive in the 2nd half after warming up to a small lead in the 1st against the Ultra Instinct crew who were a little disjointed and couldn’t get stops this game. The bros are back in action as Jake and Jordan light up the scoreboard, but it wasn’t enough as Bricklayers were all getting their buckets to go and built up too much momentum to for Ultra Instinct to over come. Ultra Instinct in 5th and bricklayers in 6th.

Whilst on the other team, Bryce C was heating up as he bagged 18 points but a loss unfortunately , Darcy E scored well with 12 points as he pitched in to add to the score. Generals have slipped the script this season as they flipped the switch on their game lately, playing structured and unleashing the young cats on the break all combining to get wins and the 3rd rank this season. Feel Team 6 took the game second half from the Fighting Ducks couldnt stop the unselfish offense they were faced with this game. Cody C couldnt miss much as he led his team with 19 big ones to conlclude the mission . Feel Team 6 snap their 3 game losing streak after taking this game down with just minutes left. The Ducks were stuggling to break the zone apart to score and settled for outside shots, which Ivan brought with volume, this wasn’t enough to overcome the turnovers though as their team chemistry fell apart…Feel Team kept up their approach, let Cody go to work and back him up with some spread scoring. Feel Team in 6th and Ducks still number 1 by a point.

This was a rivalry born last game and this game was chapter 2 of the series, the 2nd annual block party which these 2 teams are always hosting. Both teams internal D was huge, Mutombo-esque blocks worthy of a finger wag. Ethans touch on the shot was impeccable and he led the charge, Tom D did likewise as the scoring effort was enough to get ahead of Fun Guys by the end of the game..
