ROUND 14 marks the tail end of the season as we 5 round left after this one, so its time to get your team on a winning streak now to rise up and take the preferable ranks when the big Dance comes along aka…the playoffs!
Div 1 starts things off and this round had some players out due to load management and injury making for some interesting games. The ladder sits pretty static but more shake ups to come with the top team on a monster streak that everyone is trying to stop!
Chargers shot the lights out against a helpless The Bandwagoners in a clinic, taking advantage of lesser defensive matchup. Tim S got the game high in points outscoring everyone with 21 points to ensure they get the win this round. . Reggie K 13 David W played well as far as getting 12 points worth of buckets in the win. whilst on the other team, Edward A with an epic performance and great score of 19 points on the sheet , Izaak W ended up with an efficient 10 points but that wasnt enough to get his team over the line this time.
Top Gun Agents Crew (TGAC) with an amzing finish and win vs KillaBeez and it went to plan as they got a W on the backs of their scorers. Brent H put in some big numbers and got the game high in points notching an impressive 22 points to shut the defense down. . Oscar S was heating up as he bagged 15 points, a much needed performance as they won the scoring matchup against the other teams leading man. Despite a good effort by the other team as Ahmad A Snapping the wrist to perfection finding the bottom of the net for 14 points recorded by the bench , Andy K going to work down low in the blender. 8 points helping out with the teams offensive load. TGAC on a 9 game winning streak now after taking own the depleted Killabeez who started slow but then was able to hold the lead most game till Brent got some offensive power and ran the break with Oscar to push the tempo and get the lead,. KillaBeez had a guard get hot by the name of Ahmad but it just wasn’t enough as TGAC closed out in garbage time. TGAC still in first and KillaBeez in 4th.
Double Dunkers started strong and got the jump on Aces undermanned but pumped up for the challenge. CJ Popping up some well timed floaters in the lane getting numbers, with 20 point game to contribute to his teams effort. . Will S slotted in some 3s with some tidy finishes also to get 18 points worth of buckets in the win. Which for this game outshines the effort of, Fola was unconscious and had no remorse for the defense piling in 20 points worth of buckets in the loss.. , Konrad felt it was time to step up and got 18 points on the sheet . Double Dunkers had this one from the start as they went to work inside and out, pushin gth all to the hot hand coming from Will S who had a dominant game on the offensive end getting 3s and put backs after some strong rebounds, big game Will! Double Dunkers out ran the break as CJ got some easy twos from streaking past the weary Aces who need to make a run of streaks now to secure a playoff spot. Double Dunkers in 3rd.
Div 2 had the favorirtes win this round but some close ones at times showed the game could be swung either way with a big performance from someone hungry for buckets and a win for their team
The Whoopsy Fudge Stripes had better offense than the defense of their opponent, Fighting Mongooses and set the tone from the start, big mentions to the performers in this game. Paul R pulling up Js from the around the paint and beyond resulting in 17 points, a much needed performance as they won the scoring matchup against the other teams leading man. . Lach W 16 & Darcy H ended up with an efficient 12 points on the sheet even though from the other team, Matty B got the game high in points outscoring everyone with 20 points but a loss unfortunately , Wayne R pitched in to add to the score with, 10 points helping out with the teams offensive load. Whoopsy Fudge Stripes doing what they do best, run and run some more, giving Fighting Mongooses the headache of chasing them around. Fighting Mongooses did well fist half with their halfcourt offense slowing the pace a bit which just gave Whoopsy Fudge Stripes guards more energy to run! Paul R lead things with some accurate shooting giving Whoopsy Fudge Stripes the top rank still and the Fighting Mongooses in equal 4th.
Wyangal Pirates started strong and got the jump on Cream City and went back to the locker room with a solid Win. Nick B heat checked after hitting afew shots and kept going, owning this game with a great 23 points to get over the line. . Sam B first step too quick for the guard defense on top totalling 9 points worth of buckets in the win. the only resistance coming from, Trent F slotted in some 3s with some tidy finishes also to get 18 points helping out with the teams offensive load. , Cody getting stats from everywhere including 13 points but a loss unfortunately . Wyangal Pirates came out firing with some jump shots raining down on the Cream City crew who wanted the drive this night, taking it to the hole and scrapping for the ball. Wyangal Pirates captain stepped up as always with another great game from Nick B just too slick on the jumpshot and takes this as a win giving Wyangal Pirates the third spot. Cream City losing this game despite a Trent and Cody getting buckets but they still keep the 2nd spot as well.
Dream Team gets the W in a much needed and hard fought versus Bricklayers in a game that started close but ended one sided. Drew T & Eddie wore the same jersey and also wore the same score…a 18 points to ensure they get the win this round. . Dave G finished the game with a commendable 12 points in this game. Whilst on the other team, Will P pushed the fast break and trasnsition offense resulting in 15 points but a loss unfortunately , Neale P weaved through the zone D with some nice footwork finishing on 15 points as he pitched in to add to the score. . Dream Team taking this game and having some fun with it, everyone getting in on the action, it was a big game for some these teams matched up well.. Bricklayers sit in equal 6th and Dream Team in equal 4th.
Heat Check was ready this time around for Ultra Instinct and pushed it all the way to the end. Tyla T beasted hard this game finishing on a great 17 big ones to conlclude the mission . Jake S also helped out in the win with 13 points on the sheet which simply outscored the other teams leaders being, Jono C got the game high in points outscoring everyone with 19 points recorded by the bench , Jake P Popping up some well timed floaters in the lane getting numbers, with 11 points helping out with the teams offensive load. . Heat Check were keen to get this one to go, as Ultra Instinct were keen to stop their losing streak which has to end soon! Ultra Instinct have been playing well now their team is all back together, but just unable to close out the end of games. Jono C has leveled up lately and has another great game, leading his team in scoring a varied attack on the rim. Heat Check were on fire and Tyla was leading the way snapping in some big 3s to widen the gap. Heat Check in 5th just above Ultra Instinct in 6th after this match.

Love Handles knew what they had to do against The Generals in a game that started close but ended one sided. Jarrod M channelled Kobe and wanted the win this time, getting 16 points, a much needed performance as they won the scoring matchup against the other teams leading man. . Simon B felt it was time to step up and got 11 points in the big dominating victory. combining for a a good total to out do the eventual defeated, whos scorers were; Michael D couldnt miss much as he led his team with 9 points but a loss unfortunately , Jordyn W let it fly and hit more than missed with 7 points worth of buckets in the loss.. . The Generals 3 game winning streak had to come to an end, and this was the game. Love Handles still getting wins and sit on a 4 game winning streak after this game spoiling the streak owned by the The Generals. Love Handles had some hot shooters get busy in this one as Jarrod M took control with his scoring a headache for The Generals who now rest in 3rd place for now. Love Handles stil in 1st but only by 1 point!
Fun Guys grinded out a win in back and forth match vs Parrots and was able to get the much needed win. Jye W with an epic performance and great score of 16 points worth of buckets in the win. . Justin F 10 & Marley F helped out with the load getting 10 point performance. simply taking over and stifling most of their scorers expect for, N Dunstan let it fly and hit more than missed with 13 points recorded by the bench , Sam T getting stats from everywhere including 9 points but a loss unfortunately . Fun Guys came out with some hunger for points in the paint, and they pushed it in there every chance they could, with Jye on fire from outside, this was the combo they needed to overcome the Parrots who are always a strong team and sit in 4th spot just above the Fun Guys who are in 5th using this win to climb a little up the ladder.
