Div 1 started off with some old matchups revisted, and a new matchup that would start their all time series against each other….
Glass Eaters kept their structure and managed a W, after being behind most of the game against Double Dunkers , who underestimated the hustle of their opponent and copped a loss for it Alex P was unconscious and had no remorse for the defense piling in 26 points to ensure they get the win this round. . Andy K had the licence to shoot and put them up to end on 12 points worth of buckets in the win. whilst on the other team, Jed P felt it was time to step up and got 26 points on the sheet , Tim pitched in to add to the score with, 9 points but that wasnt enough to get his team over the line this time. Glass Eaters and Double Dunkers have faced off in a previous life and with some different personnel, but this time the game when differently. Double Dunkers started out strong and had their way hitting 3 pointers and some back door cut plays. Double Dunkers intensity dropped a little mid 2nd half when Alex P went into beast mode and was drilling jumpers from the top of the key and pulling in huge Orebs to get the Glass Eaters back in it and they held the lead as the final siren sounded, Both teams in 2nd place.
The Bandwagoners wins a resounding victory over the unlucky Multiple Scoregasm and set the tone from the start, big mentions to the performers in this game. Ryan M got the game high in points outscoring everyone with 15 points to shut the defense down. . Jake E 14 Josh H pitched in to add to the score with, 13 points, a much needed performance as they won the scoring matchup against the other teams leading man. Despite a good effort by the other team as James UC 11 & Jay G pitched in to add to the score with, 11 points recorded by the bench , Aron G scored well but it wasnt enough as he notched 6 points helping out with the teams offensive load. . Bandwagoners still strong even after a loss last week. Multiple Scoregasm kept up the pace and the scoring but late game, Ryan M was extra active in the key and was scraping up passes and finishing well for the 1st place Bandwagoners. Multiple Scoregasm are in 3rd after this game.
Dream Team grinded out a win in back and forth match vs Top Gun Agents couldnt stop the unselfish offense they were faced with this game. Jayke Z couldnt miss much as he led his team with 20 point game to contribute to his teams effort. . Jerome T also helped out in the win with 15 points worth of buckets in the win. Which for this game outshines the effort of, Simon L scored well but it wasnt enough as he notched 15 points worth of buckets in the loss.. , Reggie K pitched in to add to the score with, 14 points on the sheet . Dream Team was facing Top Gun Agents for the first time in history and the outcome was surprising! Top Gun Agents were up at the half and looking to build on that lead, but Dream Team had other plans, and starting smacking in shots from the mid range and collecting the extra boards they needed. Top Gun Agents in equal 2nd now and Dream Team site in 2nd too!
Div 2 was full of action packed games and some big efforts by the ballers trying to get their team up the ranks…
Circle Dirk got a good first ever win on the forever hustling Parrots and luckily scraped up a solid close out victory Luke L with an epic performance and great score of 18 points in the big dominating victory. . John CH finished the game with a commendable 17 points to get over the line. but on the other side Jack T getting stats from everywhere including 10 points as he was operating in automatic mode , N Dunstan 9 & Kye M ended up with an efficient 9 points in the matchup that couldve gone either way. Circle Dirk were pushing the tempo all game, with their big hustle on the defensive end translating to point on the offensive end. Parrots were actually controlling the game mostly but in the final minutes, Circle Dirk jumpedout ahead and kept the lead till the 40 mins was up. Parrots in 5th place and Circle Dirk in equal 2nd.
Fun Guys took the game second half from the Heat Check in a physical matchup that will set the tone for next time. Justin F had the licence to shoot and put them up to end on 13 points, a much needed performance as they won the scoring matchup against the other teams leading man. . Marley F 10 &Jonah M took a back seat to scoring, but not by much getting 9 points on the sheet even though from the other team, Speedy B heat checked after hitting afew shots and kept going, owning this game with a great 17 points but a loss unfortunately , Jake E helped out with the load getting 10 points helping out with the teams offensive load. Fun Guys were looking for a win this game, and Heat Check were just a little behind most game with their 3s and floaters not all landing. Fun Guys did well pushing it up the court and hitting some short jumpers, all adding up to get up by a few and win the game. Fun Guys 2nd now and Heat Check in 3rd
Bricklayers had its sights set on Ultra Instinct and hustled harder getting the W. Neale P focussed on the W, summoned his hustle to put in work for 22 points, a much needed performance as they won the scoring matchup against the other teams leading man. . Mitch J, Anthony, & William P played hard and got the same score on the sheet, with 8 points in the big dominating victory. combining for a a good total to out do the eventual defeated, whos scorers were; Jake P was heating up as he bagged 12 points but a loss unfortunately , Jordan P got to good spots on the court and shot well with 9 points worth of buckets in the loss.. . Bricklayers going hard this game and pushing their hustle up to the next level, which they needed too against the up and coming Ultra Instinc. Jake and Jordan P did their best to try get back in with 3s, but it wasn’t happening this game, and the Bricklayers kept attacking the middle, wearing down the defenders and getting the lead and the win. Bricklayers in 1st plae now and Ultra Instinct sits in 4th.

The Generals went back and forth but held the lead most of the game against The Prawns in this round which would result in a great match. Generals were hungry this game and they showed it on defense, the pace was quick and the fast breaks were plenty for Generals leavin the Prawns to try and catch up with some threes and some inside buckets. But Generals never stopped running and held the momentum all game until they won it. Prawns still looking for their perfect playbook still as The Generals sit in equal 1st place, undefeated!
Alley Oopsies Traded buckets most game, but kept a nice buffer all game to close it out vs Fighting Ducks in a game that had the winners go on scoring runs that werent answered in time. Matt B let it fly and hit more than missed with 21 points to ensure they get the win this round. . Dave W also helped out in the win with 10 points in this game. Whilst on the other team, Ivan couldnt be stopped this game, and couldnt be contained, the D had no answer as he scored a whopping 23 points but a loss unfortunately , Alley Oopsies having their first matchup with the mighty Fighting Ducks whos plan didn’t go so well this time as it was the winless, Alley Oopsies who got the W. Fighting Ducks had Ivan step up and go bananas with a big score, but they others weren’t able to get enough consecutive baskets to affect the game. Fighting Ducks in equal 3rd And Ally oopsies in 4th.
DKz Ballers took the game second half from the Feel Team 6 , who underestimated the defence of their opponent and copped a loss for it Ryan C led all scorers on a solid 18 big ones to conlclude the mission . M Keogh 16 Jason K weaved through the zone D with some nice footwork finishing on 13 points on the sheet which simply outscored the other teams leaders being, Bailey VL scored well but it wasnt enough as he notched 10 points recorded by the bench , David S pitched in to add to the score with, 4 points helping out with the teams offensive load. DKz Ballers had some big numbers this game especially from their bigs as the Feel Team 6 crew weren’t able to match the scoring output this time around. Ryan Cand M Keogh making sure that Feel Team cop the L and DKz Ballers get the W!
Bezznation had better offense than the defense of their opponent, Bussin Bussin in a grind of a game coming right down to the last few minutes to decide the winner. Adam R led all scorers on a solid 19 points worth of buckets in the win. . Sam J helped out with the load getting 12 point performance. simply taking over and stifling most of their scorers expect for, Jack M let it fly and hit more than missed with 17 points recorded by the bench , Edward E 7 & Will M ended up with an efficient 7 points but a loss unfortunately . Bezznation getting louder and louder with every game they play, big time bin against the up and coming Bussin Bussin who had some big plays, but not as many big stops, giving Bezznation the chance to close out the game in the dying minutes.
