ROUND 7 is over and its the last round before the Christmas break, and we had the teams look to finish the year with a win for their squad. Some close games but some big dominating victories also,
Div 1 saw the ranks stay pretty static with the favorite getting it done this round, finishing the year off with a W.
Top Gun Agents started strong and got the jump on Multiple Scoregasm couldnt stop the unselfish offense they were faced with this game. Reggie K couldnt be stopped this game, and couldnt be contained, the D had no answer as he scored a whopping 25 points to ensure they get the win this round. . Doug K & Bailey VL played hard and got the same score on the sheet, with 11ea points worth of buckets in the win. whilst on the other team, James UC beasted hard this game finishing on a great 20 points on the sheet , Aidan Popping up some well timed floaters in the lane getting numbers, with 13 points but that wasnt enough to get his team over the line this time. Top Gun Agents are doin well so far this season and this game they had it working well from all angles. They defended the three and inside well despite James going to town in the paint. Multiple Scoregasm had some sparks on offense but weren’t able to stop Reggies big game with some mid range shots from the rest of the Top Gun Agents which keeps them in 2nd place. Multiple Scoregasm in 6th as we take a rest till next year.
Glass Eaters grinded out a win in back and forth match vs Dream Team who struggled to break the defense to get buckets. Andy K just too much experience around the paint getting 21 points to shut the defense down. . Will G let it fly and hit more than missed with 11 points, a much needed performance as they won the scoring matchup against the other teams leading man. Despite a good effort by the other team as Jerome T put in some big numbers and got the game high in points notching an impressive 26 points recorded by the bench , Jayke Z & Nate D ended up with an efficient 8ea points helping out with the teams offensive load. . Glass Eaters too slippery this game, as they got off to a good start, Dream Team were doing well to keep up the pace, but the inside was busy with Andy K throwing fakes and arms everywhere, whilst the outside shot was fallin for Will and Anf getting the Glass Eaters the win and 4th spot now. Dream Team are in 5th.
The Bandwagoners went back and forth but held the lead most of the game against Double Dunkers in a grind of a game coming right down to the last few minutes to decide the winner. Marcus R let it fly and hit more than missed with 15 point game to contribute to his teams effort. . Edward A also helped out in the win with 15 points worth of buckets in the win. Which for this game outshines the effort of, Jed P Popping up some well timed floaters in the lane getting numbers, with 15 points worth of buckets in the loss.. , Peter T owning the glass and taking names in the post with 14 points on the sheet . Bandwagoners still strong this round as they take down the Double Dunkers by sticking to the game plan. Double Dunkers were doing well with Pete enforcing the middle and Jed hitting some patented floaters. Marcus and Edward were big for the Bandwagoners as they combined for 30 to take down the Double Dunkers this game, who sit in 3rd.
Div 2 had some matchups that were revisited and had a different result, some big D played this round as the shots went up in volumes..
Circle Dirk Traded buckets most game, but kept a nice buffer all game to close it out vs Fun Guys in a game that had the winners go on scoring runs that werent answered in time. John Ch with an epic performance and great score of 16 points in the big dominating victory. . Luke L finished the game with a commendable 10 points to get over the line. but on the other side Justin F got the game high in points outscoring everyone with 17 points as he was operating in automatic mode , Cody & Jonah M played well as far as getting 5 points in the matchup that couldve gone either way. . Circle Dirk came out with some guns ready to fire, with some of their outlet passes doing a great work to shift the Fun Guysout of their zone and back on D quicker. Fun Guys were looking good at times with Justin scoring whenever he wanted but the Circle Dirk crew stood strong and overcame the defense time and time again. Fun Guys are mid ladder in 4th spot and Circle Dirk are 2nd by 2 points!.
Bricklayers ,right out of the gates, jumped on the Parrots in a game that started close but ended one sided. Will P was unconscious and had no remorse for the defense piling in 18 points, a much needed performance as they won the scoring matchup against the other teams leading man. . Neale P focussed on the W, summoned his hustle to put in work for 11 points on the sheet even though from the other team, Mtich L had the licence to shoot and put them up to end on 11 points but a loss unfortunately , N Dunstan, Cameron I, Sam T pitched in to add to the score with, 5ea points helping out with the teams offensive load. . Bricklayers ready to go and this side of the season they aren’t taking any losses! Parrots were standing in their way of a 6 game wining streak to end the year, and they wernet able to match the quick passes on the fast break which hurt them late game. Bricklayers are in 1st still and Parrots but below in 3rd!
The Van Buren Boys shot the lights out against a helpless Ultra Instinct in a game that had the winners go on scoring runs that werent answered in time. Nick T got the game high in points outscoring everyone with 16 points to get over the line. . Conor P ended up with an efficient 12 points worth of buckets in the win. the only resistance coming from, Jono C let it fly and hit more than missed with 11 points helping out with the teams offensive load. , Jordan P the recipient of some nice extra passes for open shots getting him 11 points but a loss unfortunately . Van Buren Boys back in action as the new team comes in and takes a W off the bat. Ultra Instinct didn’t know what they were faced with as they hadn’t played this iteration of the team as yet. Ultra Instinct were missing some firepower on the outside but did well to fill up the mid range with some nice shots, only the defense wasn’t as effective against the well oiled machine of Van Buren Boys. Ultra Instinct in 5th.
Div 3 was pumping with hectic defense and loud games as the hyped up D- League Div keep fighting for ever point on the ladder as we pause momentarily for a few weeks over the break.

Feel Team 6 knew what they had to do against Love Handles and hustled harder getting the W. Bailey VL couldnt miss much as he led his team with 15 points to ensure they get the win this round. . Whilst on the other team, Andrew L getting stats from everywhere including 19 points but a loss unfortunately , Ethan P felt it was time to step up and got 19 points as he pitched in to add to the score. . Feel Team 6 are on a mission now and have the troops to get it done, with the ranks up for grabs and the top of the ladder clogged now. Love Handles are in 2nd place and are fending off Feel Team 6, this game would bring them within reach for Feel Team 6 to try take over, but itd take 1 more win with 2 points separating them on the ladder. This game was physical and the Big work inside by Bailey made the difference this game despite Ethan and Andrew almost combining for 40. Good matchup which will be a blockbuster next time around.
Fighting Ducks werent going to stand down against Bussin Bussin and set the tone from the start, big mentions to the performers in this game. Arlo led all scorers on a solid 20 big ones to conlclude the mission . Lachlan M 16 & Ivan C played well as far as getting 14 points on the sheet which simply outscored the other teams leaders being, Will M was shooting well from deep with 9 points recorded by the bench , Ethan M was heating up as he bagged 8 points helping out with the teams offensive load. . Fighting Ducks looking like they are back to strength now with some firepower inside and out, Arlo was huge with some kyrie finishes around the hoop and some step up 3s to silence the Bussin Bussin crowd who pushed their boys on to build on the 2 game win streak. But it wasn’t to be this time around, too many un answered points from Fighting Ducks who are in 4th now whilst Bussin Bussin takes the L and sit in 6th.
Alley Oopsies had all their troops ready to do battle with Bezznation and went back to the locker room with a solid Win. Matt B couldnt be stopped this game, and couldnt be contained, the D had no answer as he scored a whopping 19 points, a much needed performance as they won the scoring matchup against the other teams leading man. . Carlos was heating up as he bagged 15 points in the big dominating victory. combining for a a good total to out do the eventual defeated, whos scorers were; Adam R got the game high in points outscoring everyone with 24 points but a loss unfortunately , Tom M got to good spots on the court and shot well with 9 points worth of buckets in the loss.. . Alley Oopsies were due for a win and put up their biggest effort before the break. Bezznation were on fire lately looking like the team to beat, but every team can have an off game, and Alley Oopsies took them apart on the break and defending Adam R well enough to stop him getting 30 in another big game for him scoring wise. Bezznation are in equal 2nd now.
DKz Ballers matched up well against The Prawns and was able to get the much needed win. Doug K with an epic performance and great score of 22 points worth of buckets in the win. . Ryan C helped out with the load getting 21 point performance. simply taking over and stifling most of their scorers expect for, Chris O just too much experience shooting the 3 with 27 points recorded by the bench , Nick D ended up with an efficient 13 points but a loss unfortunately . DKz Ballers are up in the winning column now with this one as they put the ball in Dougs hands who was shooting well from everywhere, even finishing at the rim leading the way but only slightly more than Ryan C who was a monster with 21 also, too much scoring for The Prawnsto handle, even though Chris O had a Steph Curry game and was hitting some huge shots on the way to a possible UBL career high! DKz Ballers in equal 3rd now.
