1st quarter started off with both teams warmed up and ready to go. Fola wasnt wasting any time and went reigh to work with 11 points in the quarter, 3 threes and some good stops to mount up a 4 point lead by the end of the quarter, all other stats pretty even. Cherry Busters missing a few shots to start off with starting slow but Scotty W and Djordje combined for 8 in the quarter to keep the score within 2 buckets. Aces looked to work on this small lead in the ensuing quarters..
2nd quarter Aces kept up the same approach, drive and dish to the hot shooters, and this quarter it was tougher for ACes to get shots up and suffered a bit percentage wise as the bigger defenders from Cherry Busters forced more outside shots and extra passes from Aces. Fola with 16 so far in the game and Corey C was heating up with his 8 thus far, a couple of 3s to his name helping Cherry Busters get the 3 point lead by the end of the half. At this point Cherry Busters led the boards by 10 a definite factor in this game.
3rd quarter things started getting interesting, as Cherry Busters kept pushing forward and feeding the ball to their guards who were putting up some big threes and hitting some despite the tough D in their faces. Djordje was playing strongly with 10 so far hitting 2s and free throws with great efficiency to lead the team whilst Fols ke up the attack from deep with 18 points in the game so far, Tim W got some tough baskets to go down too with 8 as the score went the way of Cherry Busters by 2 leaving Aces to regroup for the 4th and final 12 minutes to make their stand.
4th quarter it went back and forth with Aces trying to get the upper hand and try and secure this win. Tim hitting a controversial 3 that was ruled a 2, then Fola wasnt to be denied as he was faced with a huge shot to tie the game up after 2 Djordje free throws that put the Cherry Busters up by 3 with just seconds to go. Aces drew up a play to get their sharpshooter free and he went straight to the logo to put up a magnificent 3 that splashed and sent the game to OT! the stats almost even at this point highlighting the even matchup as they went to 2mins of Overtime to crown a winner.
Overtime battle was to be fought this game and with the momentum that Aces had after Folas huge shot, it was a tough ask for Cherry Busters to try and swing the game and with Fola hitting a 3 and a 2 which wasnt answered back, it was said and done by the end of the game, an MVP performance that carried his team to the win!
Top Performers this game were Sam H with 13 rebs 5 steals and 4 assists, Scotty W with 10 points and 14 rebs from Cherry Busters Whilst the Aces top players were Fola O with 31 points and the big buckets to seal the win, Tim W with a solid souble double of 13 points and 14 rebs. Dugald O 7 points 5 rebs and 4 steals.

1st quarter started off with both teams looking for their 3 point shot and the fast break but Kum Bucks had a bit more luck as Johnny, Doug H and Jake E got things going with 14 combined to get the lead by 5 in the end of the 12 minutes. the rebounds were an issue for Dream Gunz losing that battle by 7 in the quarter as the extra hustle on the boards paid off for Kum Bucks. Simon L with 4 so far as the team struggled to get easy looks.
2nd quarter saw the game change big time as the two teams were warmed up and were getting loose with the 3 point shot to try and get advantage in momentum and score. Brent H was shooting with some space but still unable to connect but helped otu with 4 so far and 5 rebs. Simon L with 6 to lead the team so far. Doug H balle dout this quarter as did Owen M who notched a huge 19 points in the quarter to fuel the surge from Kum Bucks that saw them amass a 33 point lead winning the quarter with a 30-6 scoring effort. Dream Gunz starting to look for their 3 alot more to try shoot their way back into the game after this forgettable quarter for them. Kum Bucks smooth sailing now and looked to keep their pace up in the 2nd half!
3rd quarter the story didnt change much as the guards from Kum Bucks kept on taking advantage of bass passes and loose balls by getting 11 steals so far in the game to Dream Gunz's 4 . Owen and Dough kept on adding to their total with 45 between them at this point. Simon L and Grant kept putting pressure on the inside which was effective, but the 3 ball was not falling for them. Kum Bucks outscoring the Dream Gunz by 12 this quarter to build on their growing lead as they go into the last 12 mins of play.
4th quarter was a formality, as the Dream Gunz jacked up an amazing amount of 3s that just rimmed out and saw them fight for the ball harder to get more looks at the rim. The Dream Gunz put up a good run and only lost the Quarter by 1 point but that wasnt enough to cover the massive lead. The eventual score this quarter ended with a one sided affair as Kum Bucks ran away with the lead and the game, the winners this season with a dominant spin added to it that should strike fear into the hearts of the Div 1 teams waiting to play them.
Top Performers this game were Simon L on 15 points 7 rebs on 50% shooting, Brent H with 7points 14 rebounds 3 assists from Dream Gunz. And from Kum Buck the top ballers were Owen M the MVP with 33 points 11 rebs and 3 steals on 48% shooting, DOug H on 21 and 12 rebs on 53% shooting, Jye P with 10 and 7rebs and the half triple double for Johnny M with 8 points 5 rebs and 6 assists. Jake E also stepped up with a near double double of 8 points 11 rebs and 5 steals & assists!

1st quarter The Generals looked like the more structured team coming out in the 1st but the smooth moves from DKz Ballerz guards was the difference in the quarter as Noah B dropped 8 in the quarter with 2 3s and Doug K hitting one also to get the lead by 5 after 12 mins. Michael D looked locked in as he went to work inside, getting some good lanes to clear for his finishes with 6 in the quarter, Jordyn starting to get going with 4 and a big shot from Daddy Lachlan W to rev up the boys for the 2nd quarter!
2nd quarter action saw things even up a bit as DKz Ballerz tried to hang on to the lead whilst The Generals were super driven to get this game to within one basket. Hustle was on display from both sides with Noah continuing to play well and Matt H getting in on the action to dominate the boards with Doug on 6 each to keep things close. The Generals had some buckets go down from their guards, but the turnovers were still a problem with 11 so far in the game. Rebounds even at this point, neither team really getting the edge this quarter as the DKz Ballerz lead was cut to 3!
3rd quarter The Generals stepped it up a notch and ran the break hard and fed the ball to Michael D on the outside who had connected on 2 threes so far, the hot hand this quarter with 16 points so far and 9 rebs. Jason K was looking for his shot and banged a few in for 5 so far, as did Alvin who was hitting hit mid range when the D let up a bit. DKz Ballerz shooting 31% so far to The Generals 40%, the turnovers started to even up with only 2 between them as they locked down on the passes. The Generals able to go on a 15-9 run in the quarter getting them the 1 point lead going into the 4th!
4th quarter DKz Ballerz had lost some of their momentum and were looking to try and get it back with some long threes, but they werent falling, and The Generals took advantage by getting Jordy on the break and Matt B to get a some and1s on broken plays. Jordy was sent to the line alot this quarter and hit some big free throws to increase the gap to be out of reach as time dwindled down. The eventual score was only within 5 points a great even matchup that saw the lead shared by both teams to end up in a tight finish in garbage time that saw The Generals outlast Dkz Ballerz this time around to win the game and the season as Champions!
Top Performers this game were Noah B with 17 points and 9 rebs 3 assists, Doug K on 9 points 8 rebs and 5 steals, and Matt H with 8 points and a monster 17 rebounds from DKz Ballerz. The best players for the night from The Generals were Michael D with a big double double of 18 points 12 rebs 3 assists and 3 steals on 50% shooting, Jordyn W on 15 points 6 rebs and Matt B on 8 points and 10 rebs on 100% shooting!
Congrats to The Generals! Crowned Div 3 champions for this season after a tough season. Well done to both teams in a great finals match!
Div 4 Grand Finals

1st Heat Check went back and forth but held the lead most of the game against 2nd ranked Miami Yeet in this round which would result in a great match.
1st quarter Heat Check were out running and hitting their scorers where they wanted it, Tyla and Speeedy combining for 12 in the quarter to start things off well giving Heat Check a 15 to 6 score advantage after the quarter was done. Speedy was hitting some big outside shots and only Justin was able to answer back with 4 in the quarter for Miami Yeet.
2nd quarter Heat Check kept up their strong play going on a 9 to 3 run in the 12 minutes to expand their lead to 15 by the 1st half. Heat Check had some scorers starting to get hot with Speedy on 10. Tyla on 7 and Mitch on 5 who were all running hard and crashing the boards. Miami Yeet had not as much luck this quarter and looked to the 2nd half to try and make a run!
3rd quarter Miami Yeet stepped it up this quarter getting some scorers to get their shots in with Ash M on 6 points so far and Sean D mounting up 4 points to help try and get back in this game, but Heat Check had other ideas as they kept up the pace pushing the break, Speedy going off at this point with 16 so far and Tyla on 11. Heat Check were up by 21 at this point and looked to cruise home if Miami Yeet didnt make a drastic run in the 4th!
4th quarter Heat Check were still moving things up the court with urgency and making sure they dont let down despite a good lead. Getting Mitch on the break and Tyla hitting some outside shots didnt help the Miami Yeet chances as they werent able to find many options as everyone took a turn to try catch fire, Ash M still playing well and a few others hitting buckets too. But there was no miracle this game and Miami Yeet went down by a larger margin than expected after a great season making it right up to the Grand Finals to finally fall!
Top scorers in this game were, Caelan Bennett ( 22 points 6 rebounds and 3 assists ) leading his team & Mitch Taylor (12 on 71% shooting) & Tyla T ( 11 points and 7 rebounds ) . The Miami Yeet top scorers were; Ash M ( 9 points 6 rebs ) , & Alex F ( 4 points 3 rebs )& Justin S ( 4 points 2 rebounds ).
Heat Check crowned Div 4 champions for Tuesday Season 13!!! well done to the team and to their opponents Miami Yeet who fought hard in solid Grand Finals game!
