5th ranked Aces started strong and got the jump on 4th place Double Dunkers in a loud and hectic game keeping refs active and players tense. Top scorers in this game were, Matt Steel & Ben M ( 20ea ) top scoring for his team, & Fola O ( 15 ) . The opponents top scorers were; Jed P ( 15 ) , & Peter T ( 12 ) . Aces came out with a solid plan, get it to their bigs and let them operate inside with confidence, all Aces players getting in for boards giving them extra points on put backs. But this allowed Double Dunkers to get some points on the break through Jed P and CJ, but even Peter Ts efficient work inside wasnt enough this game, as the three headed monster of Matt Ben and Fola put in 55 for a dominating outlay of points that got them over the line past Double Dunkers.
Aces look to repeat this season and get past a tough team who always put up a fight! Good season to Double Ds! Aces proceed and keep the dream alive!

Div 2
4th place 808s & Fastbreaks shot the lights out against a helpless 5th ranked Alley Oopsies in a game that had the winners go on scoring runs that werent answered in time. Top point getters in this game were, Zach S ( 23 ) leading his team & Tim Tapia & Cameron M ( 11ea ) . The other teams' top scorers were; Matt Walker ( 10 ) , & Matt B ( 9 ) . 808s & Fastbreaks looked good and were locked in for this game, and were faced with a tough team led by Matt W and Matt B who combined for just under 20 in the loss, not able to get enough of their usual scoring done with the intensity of the defense pouring in. Alley Oopsies kept on pushing the ball up the court and were able to get close to the bucket but the shots were rimming out this game and they were left chasing the lead which was growing from 808s & Fastbreaks . Z
ach Tim and Cam M put in 45 together this game to dominate the scoresheet and keep their team alive and into the next round of the playoffs! Alley Oopsies go home early after a great season keeping up with Div 2 only to fall in the playoffs.

3rd ranked Fighting Ducks took the game second half from the 6th place Multiple Scoregasm in a game that started close but ended one sided. Top performers in this game were, Ivan ( 38 ) leading the way & Nathan R ( 20 ) . Their opponents had top scorers too, and they were; James UC ( 19 ) , & Tugga Matthew ( 10 ) . Fighting Ducks liked the matchup and were going in strong with mid range Js and quick fast breaks. Ivan was big time this gae, dominating on the scoring end, hitting his floating J and some tough and1s that left the Multiple Scoregasm defenders upset and looking for answers. Nathan R also put in a strong performance with his buckets deep and inside. Fighting Ducks take this one and move to the Semis next week.
Multiple Scoregasm having their last game in 6.5 years this night. James UC steppin up big time like Kobe in Toronto as he put in a huge effort for his team high points, helped out by Tugga who hit his usual inside craft shots to combine for almost 30 between them. A sad night for a UBL Tuesday OG Team that will be sadly missed. Great bunch of guys who always showed great sportsmanship and always played hard for everything they got. 6th ranked The Generals knew what they had to do against 3rd place Globo Gym in a game that had the winners go on scoring runs that werent answered in time. Top scorers in this game were, Jordyn W ( 27 ) getting the team high in points & Kyle W ( 13 ) . The opponents top scorers were; Aiden ( 21 ) leading his squad , & Blake ( 6 ) . The Generals waking up in the 2nd half after keeping things close all game in the 1st half. Aiden and Blake were rallying and trying to keep the hustle and points coming in, Aiden was on fire with his Js outside and some strong finishes near the hoop. But Kyle and Kordyn were looking for the buckets early, kyle was hitting his 3, and Jordyn was a headache for them all game as he got almost 30 in the win! The Generals advance to the next round and send Globo Gym packing this game. Great season to keep in the hunt and push the top teams to their limits. Better luck next season!

5th place Shellharbour Warriors took the game second half from the 4th ranked Silly Salmons and set the tone from the start, big mentions to the performers in this game. Top scorers in this game were, Jake P ( 29 ) getting team high in the win & Stuart G ( 18 ) . The opponents top scorers were; Christian B ( 20 ) stepping up for his team , & Tim H ( 12 ) . Shellharbour Warriors come out firing and ge ta leg up in the first half through some huge buckets from Jake P who went on a 13 point run to hit 3s and show the bag inside stunning the Silly Salmons this time giving them the task to catch up.
The ball was rimming out for Tim H but he got a few to go in the 2nd for his contribution to the game along with Christians shift moves and hit buckets to help the effort. But it was Shellharbour Warriors who were too big and the twin towers Stu and Jake combine for 47 in the win and they proceed to the next round keep their goals in sight! Silly Salmons go home early after a great stint coming in late and showing what theyre made of to challenge the strong teams in the div. Till next season!

1st ranked Parrots knew what to expect when they faced 4th place Seeker Buckets and was victorious this round, thanks to some players putting in work. Top scorers in this game were, N Dunstan ( 13 ) leading the way & Tye P ( 12 ) . The opponents top scorers were; Aaron Trotty ( 10 ) , & Curt A ( 5 ) . Parrots looking to take the road to the finals quickly and put the pedal on the gas to start this game off strong despite the smothering defense from Seeker Buckets. Trotty was on a mission and tried his best to keep the points coming in, but things were falling short and he was under alot of pressure from the D knowing hes the man in the playoffs for Seeker Buckets. Curt also helped out with some great defensive plays and a few buckets.
But it was the Parrots, Nick D and Tye that stole the show this game with 25 combined in the defensive game that showed up at the right time earning them a trip to the Grand Finals! Seeker Buckets go home early but started to get some traction this season, a few additions and some smarter defense made som games close but just out of reach for them.
