1st ranked Cherry Busters just able to get the win by a bucket or so vs 2nd ranked KillaBeez and luckily scraped up a solid close out victory Top scorers in this game were, Dan Potter (25) top scoring for his team, & Sam Howe (13 ) . The opponents top scorers were; Will P ( 20) , & Jake P (18) & Andy King ( 15 ) .
1st quarter Cherry Busters coming out firing from deep and looking to get their bigs involved, Dan P lighting up the scoreboard with a 3 and some 2s that punished the D with his drives and was looking to continue all game. The rebounding was 7 difference in Cherry Busters favor, the bigs getting active and getting advantage in the paint which would help in the rest of hte game. Jake P was big for KillaBeez with 7pts and Ahmad started hot with 2 3 balls to bring the score to within 1 point, KillaBeez down.
2nd quarter had the KillaBeez getting out and running on the break, and Will P started getting hot putting in work on the break and finding the open shooters to give them a lead in the quarter outscoring Cherry Busters by 5 points, still down in rebounds by 7, but shooting slightly better than Cherry Busters sop far with 44% to their 37%.
3rd quarter was the defining period which saw Cherry Busters ouscore KillaBeez 25 to 11 which was a big time turnaround going from being down 5 to being up 9, Dan P up to 20 points at this time, and Sam H hitting some crucial shots from deep with 11 so far and 3 downtowners. Andy K started to make some moves with 10 so far and perfect from the field, but Cherry Busters we up and looked in control despite a tough effort on D from KillaBeez .
4th quarter Cherry Busters let the lead slide a bit, as the last few minutes, Will P went off, hitting 3s and 2s to bring the score within 3, it was back and forth got a few plays and it came down Ross Marshall hitting a huge 3 pointer with seconds left to put the Busters up by 3, a huge clutch play, quiet until this moment, his only shot, and BIGGEST shot of the game! Killabeez still had a chance, and With seconds left, there was a shot to tie from KillaBeez which just rimmed out, unlucky in this one after a great season and run! Cherry Busters take the chip and stay strong in the final moments to outlast the surging KillaBeez
Cherry Busters had some good performers, .Dan P on 25 points 5 rebs on 41% shooting, Sam H with 13 pts, 3 3 pointers, Alex R doing his big man role with 7pts 11 rebs.
KillaBeez had some big plays and scoring from Will P with 20pts and 4 assits, Jake P on 18 points and 8 rebounds, and Andy K with 15 points, Ahmad hit 3 3 pointers for 9 points to help with the effort.

Watch 808s and FASTBREAKS vs HEAT CHECK!

4th ranked 808s & Fastbreaks werent going to stand down against 2nd place Heat Check in a grind of a game coming right down to the last few minutes to decide the winner. Top point getters in this game were, Ben Lewis ( 22 ) leading his team & Zach S ( 10 ) . The other teams' top scorers were; Tyla T ( 12 ) , & Dave F & Caelan B ( 10ea ) .
1st quarter 808s & Fastbreaks came out with a determined energy, Ben L geting hungry and getting 8 points in the quarter to start things off well for 808s & Fastbreaks, Zac was geting to the line too and helped keep control and the score close. Speedy and Tyle combined for 8 in the quarter to lead their team, hitting well from deep and inside.
2nd quarter Heat Check tried a few defensive strategies and were able to limit more hot scoring from Ben but the other boys stepped up to pitch in a few points which helped keep the lead by 2 in the end of the first 24 mins. 808s & Fastbreaks outrebounding Heat Check by 6 at this point, and keeping Heat Check to 29% shooting, playing D well Heat Check had Dave F start to heat up with some tough shots inside, but it would take a big effort for both team to try and break this one open. 808s & Fastbreaks up by 2 at the half.
3rd quarter 808s & Fastbreaks kept up the pressure and limited anyone from getting hot, this was a low scoring quarter with both teams struggling to get good looks, Heat Check edging 808s & Fastbreaks by 3 in score after this 12 mins as the final quarter was the decider in this one with both teams so close.
4th quarter saw 808s & Fastbreaks get lucky and were able top get into the bonus quicker forcing Heat Check to play on the back foot havin to foul and try make some big shots to catch up, and they did hit some tough ones but 808s & Fastbreaks and their free throw shooting was enough to close the game out by 1 point, Ben L huge in this one to close out and hit enough of his free throws to steal this win and claim the title!
808s & Fastbreaks had some good performers, Ben L with 22 points on 42% shooting, Zach S with 10 pts and 6 rebs plus 3 steals, big man Cam M did his job with 13 rebounds to hammer the paint.
Heat Check had some big plays and scoring from Tyla T on 10 points Dave F on 10 and Speedy with 10 also in the loss as they did their best to score and help with the effort in the loss.

2nd place Bricklayers with an amzing barrag of points on offense and great win vs 6th ranked The Generals who werent able to get it done this time. and needed every chance to try and score and get the result they need, and Top performers in this game were, William P ( 29 ) leading the way & Fletcher ( 1 ) . Their opponents had top scorers too, and they were; Kyle W ( 18 ) , & Jordyn W ( 12 ) .
1st half Bricklayers able to start strong and get the ball into the game ready hands of Will P who was hungry from the get go, puttin gin 2 thres and a bunch of free throws to drop 20 in the first half! Fletch helped alot with 6 and 7 rebounds to back up the effort and ge the elad by 18 going into the 2nd half. Generals had some luck with Jordyn shooting well and getting to the line, but only Benett was able to hit a 3 and the other boys were struggling with the defense from Bricklayers , making their shots hard to hit.
2nd half Bricklayers were firing on all fronts, Fletcher starting to get his shot and hit some big free throws to extend the lead and consolidate the effort from the boys on defense. Mitch J fought hard down low but was met with some heavy resistance. Jordan and Matt B did what they could from the paint but werent able to summon a big night to try and get back into this game, Kyle W was the biggest spark in the 2nd half with a big time scoring run hitting a huge 5 threes on 45% shooting from deep almost enough to fuel comeback win, but Will P and the Bricklayers were destined to take this chip and outlasted the Generals depite being outscored in the quarter 35-19.
Bricklayers had some good performers, Will P the MVP of this game with 29 pts 7 rebs and 5 steals on 56% shooting! Fletch R on 13 points and 10 rebs, a solid double double.
Generals had some big plays and scoring from Kyle W on 18 pts on 45 % shooting, Matt B on 10pts and 5 rebs, Jordyn W on 12 pts and 5 assists to help with the effort.

1st ranked Parrots needed someone to step up and hit the game winner against 2nd place Blue Ballers in a back and forth game holding the crowd in suspense Top scorers in this game were, N Dunstan ( 17 ) getting the team high in points & Tye P ( 9 ) . The opponents top scorers were; Nitin ( 13 ) leading his squad , & James Fiumara ( 11 ) .
1st half Parrots were in control by the end of the first half, Nick D starting strong with 10 pts on 50% shooting so far and the other Parrots helped out too, Jack O getting hit shot to go from 3 and Doug D pushing it inside and getting to the charity stripe to give them a 5 point lead at the half. Nitin was the man for Blue Ballers as he went for 7 points in the first half, and James F bad some good looks go down for 5 points in the game that was anyones at this point.
2nd half Parrots letting the lead slide at one point and it came down tot he last play after alot of back and forth from both teams hitting shot after shot in answer to each others, Nick D was the man to get the ball i the final moments and he put up a huge shot from the win with some high arc which went in and shocked the crowd, the Parrots flocking into a frenzy as they were albe to do the impossible and win this one by the biggest of shots and by only a bucket!
Blue Ballers had some good performers, .Nitin with 13pts and 11 rebs a big double double, James F with 11pts and 6 rebs. Josh Allen a near DD with 8 and 9rebs.
Parrots had some big plays and scoring from Nick D with 17 points 5 rebs and the game winning shot! Tye P had 9 points and 8 rebs and Doug D hit 6 on his total to help with the effort.
