SEMI FINALS has now concluded its games, the best 4 of each div that made it through the first round of the PLayoffs, it was a banger this round, with an Epic game winner with scores tied!
Div 1 had 2 games, the top 4 and the fairest matchup with top teams playing the lower rank, it coudlve gone either way!
1st rank Chargers started strong and got the jump on 4th rank Killa Beez undermanned but pumped up for the challenge. Reggie K couldnt be stopped this game, and couldnt be contained, the D had no answer as he scored a whopping 37 points to ensure they get the win this round. . Greg M had the licence to shoot and put them up to end on 23 points worth of buckets in the win. whilst on the other team, Andy K just too much experience around the paint getting 16 points on the sheet , Will G Snapping the wrist to perfection finding the bottom of the net for 13 points but that wasnt enough to get his team over the line this time. This game started with Chargers come out and take, charge! With some realy buckets burying Killa Beez early as they tried to claw back to within single digits most game, some good plays and shots from KillaBeez, but they couldn’t stop the hot shooting from chargers, who hit 12 threes in the game. Chargers looking unstoppable as they dispatch the defending champs in the Semis, as Killa Beez accept defeat and rebuild after their injury riddled season.
2nd rank FAC went back and forth but held the lead most of the game against 3rd rank Top Gunz in a game that started close but ended one sided. Oscar S put in some big numbers and got the game high in points notching an impressive 29 points to shut the defense down. . Jarryd getting stats from everywhere including 12 points, a much needed performance as they won the scoring matchup against the other teams leading man. Despite a good effort by the other team as Brent H beasted hard this game finishing on a great 23 points recorded by the bench , Dean S felt it was time to step up and got 12 points helping out with the teams offensive load. FAC wanted this win and they did their work early with a 9 point lead at the half, Top Gunz unable to get the momentum most game and short on some outside shots not giving their shooters much confidence, and FAC kept charging and pushing the break, it did the job and FAC will face Chargers in the Grand Finals. Great season for Top Gunz getting 3rd place in the season but just 1 game short of the final game!
Div 2 had some epic moments and some flat out big time matchups with some previous results coming into play when these teams faced off as they had many times during the season, this was to be different though! Loser goes home!
1st rank Fighting Ducks took the game second half from the 4th rank WhoopseyFudge Stripes and it went to plan as they got a W on the backs of their scorers. Ivan C couldnt be stopped this game, and couldnt be contained, the D had no answer as he scored a whopping 27 points, a much needed performance as they won the scoring matchup against the other teams leading man. . Sam slotted in some 3s with some tidy finishes also to get 12 points on the sheet even though from the other team, Lachlan W Snapping the wrist to perfection finding the bottom of the net for 14 points but a loss unfortunately , Paul R pitched in to add to the score with, 7 points helping out with the teams offensive load. Ducks were out there fighting and Whoopsey did their best job defending their varied attack from the long range passes and extra looks from tap outs. Whoopsey did a good job hitting some crucial shots especially from outside, however the scoring surge from Ivan C was too much, as the blinding handles led to many buckets and was the factor in the win…Good Season Whoopsey, so much hustle but just not enough offense in this last game for them..
2ND rank Multiple Scoregasm put the ball in the hot hand and summoned some clutch factor against 3rd rank Fighting Mongooses and went back to the locker room with a solid Win. Bryden the recipient of some nice extra passes for open shots getting him 13 points to get over the line. . Ali M points from slashing and finding the gaps in the zone D. 10 points worth of buckets in the win. the only resistance coming from, Wayne J had the licence to shoot and put them up to end on 18 points helping out with the teams offensive load. , Zac 10 & Matt B took a back seat to scoring, but not by much getting 10 points but a loss unfortunately . Game of the round!, Back and forth, mini runs all game, huge buckets and go ahead and1s! Mongooses going inside with some drive and scoops and Multi Scorgs doing well passing to the post and hitting some mid rangers, in the final moments, Mongooses were up and in control, but a late shot by Michael H off the glass and a HUGE shot by Bryden from 3 right on the end of the game to go ahead and take Multiple Scorgasms to the Grand Finals! Mongooses did well this season holding high ranks and even the top spot for a while. They’ll have to rebuild and get their revenge next season!
Div 3 had 2 games between who was left after the battle in the first round of the playoffs, and this night games were close and heated, the physicality just next level!

5th rank Shellharbour Warriors had better offense than the defense of their opponent, 1ST rank Heat Check and set the tone from the start, big mentions to the performers in this game. Stu C let it fly and hit more than missed with 8 points in this game. Whilst on the other team, Jake S got to good spots on the court and shot well with 13 points but a loss unfortunately , Tyla T finished the game with a commendable 11 points as he pitched in to add to the score. Last time these 2 teams matched up the game was decided by a 3 at the buzzer which made for a crazy finish and start to this rivalry, this time it was Warriors turns to take revenge and impose their will on the Heat Check crew by smashing bodies inside and putting everything on the line all to get to the next game. It proved effective and Warriors take Heat Check down by only 5 points. Heat Check did an awesome job staying number 1 for many rounds, and they just had their dreams shattered by this team who just had a little more in the paint to get those Orebs and extra shots, Watch out for this squad next season!, they keep leveling up! Warriors will go on to play Ultra in the Grand Finals next week!
3rd rank Ultra Instinct Started shaky against a loaded up 2ND rank More Buckets and luckily scraped up a solid close out victory Jake P with an epic performance and great score of 14 big ones to conlclude the mission . Christian C was unconscious and had no remorse for the defense piling in 11 points on the sheet which simply outscored the other teams leaders being, Nick M scored well but it wasnt enough as he notched 9 points recorded by the bench , Jack T finished the game with a commendable 8 points helping out with the teams offensive load. More Buckets weren’t going to give up and they made sure they kept the scoring up all game, the first half was neck and neck, with More Buckets leading by 1 after a chippy half with and1s and not many 3s, Ultra put them up there though, with 2 threes, imporoving to 4 threes more in the 2nd which was able to give them the advantage in the score, 3 threes from MB making up most of their offense which wasn’t enough this game and they go home early till they return next year hungry for this chance again! Ultra instinct go on to face Shellharbour Warriors next week in the Grand Finals!
