UBL Tuesdays is BACK!!! with the break over and the season returning for its 11th installment, you know there will be some highlights…Teams have rebuilt and recruited and worked on some plays in the off season, and it shows on the court. The official start to the season next week! See whos ready!
Top Gunz got a good first ever win on the forever hustling Wyangal Pirates and pushed it all the way to the end. Brent H just too much experience around the paint getting 14 points to ensure they get the win this round. . Karl P had the licence to shoot and put them up to end on 8 points worth of buckets in the win. whilst on the other team, Nick B was stroking it with ease from all parts of the arc. 20 points on the sheet , Alex B 6 & Sam B played hard and got the same score on the sheet, with 6 points but that wasnt enough to get his team over the line this time. What a grind of a game, with Top Gunz pushing it inside the arc getting up baseline Js and some open looks outside most game, But Nick B was hitting huge bombs to keep the Pirates in the game until the last few minutes when Top Gunz took control and ended up on top by a few buckets.
Chargers started strong and got the jump on Dream Team in a clinic, taking advantage of lesser defensive matchup. Greg M just too much touch on the midrange shot with 22 points to shut the defense down. . Matty B getting stats from everywhere including 16 points, a much needed performance as they won the scoring matchup against the other teams leading man. Despite a good effort by the other team as Dave G beasted hard this game finishing on a great 18 points recorded by the bench , Nathan 10 & Grant felt it was time to step up and got 10 points helping out with the teams offensive load. . Chargers charging on as the Div 1 champs and they showed why this game as teh Dream team got a nice welcome into the league from the best team on the night, Dream teams Dave G had a blinder of a game hitting 4 consecutive 3s on his big night, but it wasn’t enough this time, the blue team too well trained and got the W.
BD Ballers knew it would take more than buckets, they needed stops and that got them the win.. Double Dunkers and it went to plan as they got a W on the backs of their scorers. Cam B got the game high in points outscoring everyone with 19 point game to contribute to his teams effort. . Zen had the licence to shoot and put them up to end on 13 points worth of buckets in the win. Which for this game outshines the effort of, Will 12 & Tim played hard and got the same score on the sheet, with 12 points worth of buckets in the loss.. , CJ was heating up as he bagged 6 points on the sheet . Div 1 Double Dunkers vs a new entrant but not so new, as the BD Ballers emerge from the darkness after taking a break from their Thursday campaign to come out and take a W this round by using fast break to tire the Vets of Double Ds. Strong finishes amounted to a strong win by BD Ballers, Double Dunkers will put their head down as the next round is when the business end is upon us…and they always step up!
Ultra Instinct gets the W in a much needed and hard fought versus Fighting Ducks , who underestimated the hustle of their opponent and copped a loss for it Jono C getting stats from everywhere including 16 points in the big dominating victory. . Jake P ended up with an efficient 14 points to get over the line. but on the other side Ivan C heat checked after hitting afew shots and kept going, owning this game with a great 29 points as he was operating in automatic mode , Michael B scored well with 8 points together as they go down in this matchup. . Ultra instinct get the win on a hungry Fighting ducks crew who just want to start getting buckets and wins to keep their confidence going. But Ultra were hungrier, coming off their shattered post season, they went down to the blocks and got to work in the paint this time, Captain Jono led the way hitting 3s and 2s to keep the flow of points going all game. Just a little too much for the Ducks this round and they go home with a loss in this grading exhibition match.
The Bandwagoners shot the lights out against a helpless PuntHub and set the tone from the start, big mentions to the performers in this game. Edward A put in some big numbers and got the game high in points notching an impressive 19 points, a much needed performance as they won the scoring matchup against the other teams leading man. . Izaak W pulling up Js from the around the paint and beyond resulting in 18 points on the sheet even though from the other team, Darcy E had the licence to shoot and put them up to end on 14 points but a loss unfortunately , Blake W helped out with the load getting 3 points helping out with the teams offensive load. . Bandwagoners coming out strong and in full charge as they beat down teh Punthub crew who weren’t able to pass the ball as well as theyd like, with teh long arms of the Bandwagoners forcing unorthodox shots. Punthub did well do score some run breaking buckets, but they just couldn’t stop the unselfish offense they were faced with and Bandwagoners took the dominating win!
Fun Guys focused on the eyes of the opponent and got alot of steals which concerted to points, and the win against The Generals in a game that had the winners go on scoring runs that werent answered in time. Justin F heat checked after hitting afew shots and kept going, owning this game with a great 17 points to get over the line. . Jye W focussed on the W, summoned his hustle to put in work for 10 points worth of buckets in the win. the only resistance coming from, Jordyn W let it fly and hit more than missed with 10 points helping out with the teams offensive load. , Bennett R played well as far as getting 10 points but a loss unfortunately . Fun Guys emerge from the Saturday battle grounds and pop up in a weekeday comp, and they went well with their first win during the week, can they keep this up? Generals looked good as they shook off some rust, but they couldn’t keep up with the young legs of Fun Guys who got out running on the break whilst hitting some jumpers to seal the deal.

Scorgasms wanted this win and shows the Heat Check crew why they are the team to beat when at full strength. Heat Check did great on the perimeter and on the glass somewhat, but Scorgasms had it going from all spots, passing well and cutting to create angles. Fighting Mongooses took the game second half from the Bricklayers and was victorious this round, thanks to some players putting in work. Wayne J & Zac wore the same jersey and also wore the same score…a 19 points to ensure they get the win this round. Matty B helped out with the load getting 8 points to get over the line. simply out working the other scorers being, Neale P scored well but it wasnt enough as he notched 10 points in this game. , Anthony had a pretty good game scoring wise with 5 points in the loss .Mongooses came out with some former players and they look like the chemistry is off to a good start, with the inside play doing well and the jumpers falling, the yellow team seems to be clicking already, as they got to face the Bricklayers who were loaded up and working hard to manage their big roster, experimenting with matchups to throw at the Mongooses who just went about their game and got the job done with solid D and good boxing out. Bricklayers did really well but just couldn’t get as many fast breaks to cover the gap they chased most game..
Next round is the big start to the official season where every win counts, and every loss could be the start of a slump that you must rally the team to rise up out of ! Divisions set and the battle is on!
