LMS started strong as usual against the SCOTS that was until the textbook machine kicked into gear. LMS had no answers for the SCOTS structured style of ball on and off the ball. In probably the only game of the season Peter Rosti didn’t hit a 3? but still led his team with Michael Murphy to 18pts a piece.
Trailing most of the 2nd half, Chris Flano took it upon himself to hit 3 back to back 3’s to bring the game within arms reach, and as that happened the SCOTS upped it another notch and LMS found noway in losing by 16, good season teams!

4Batteries Galore DEF 5Evermil
Batteries playing hurt with only 4 players in the lineup showed on the night why they are still a silent threat even though SCOTS gave them a thrashing a few weeks ago. With some discipline and fitness without a doubt Batteries Galore would be undefeated in UBL but those crazy Hawaiian shirts tend to speak for themselves.
Evermil with a surprise in-form season finished the season on great terms finishing 5th and going down to Batteries by only 5.

1Team UBL DEF 9Old School Ballers (8Fluffers forfeit)
The upset of the round took place at the expense of Team UBL, over confident and without inspiration as they were out hustled by the flashy OSB. In a theoretically impossible game to lose, 1st v 9th, OSB came out guns blazing from start to finish and that’s what finals are all about.
It’s anyone’s game. UBL with a chance to knock it into OT in the absolute last second of the game a contested layup under the ring summed up the game for the UBL boys bouncing out, no foul called…GAME Old School Ballers by 2!!!
