Bombers starting late as the quick pace and fast offense of Shooters took them by surprise, but the 3 pointers started going in and the gap was recovered and the lead gained, Bombers held on to win as Shooters take the L home this time…
Hogz liked the matchup with MIB in a physical matchup that will set the tone for next time. Aaron P the recipient of some nice extra passes for open shots getting him 21 points to shut the defense down. Dan W getting some fadeaways to fall to contribute to the result with 13 points, a much needed performance as they won the scoring matchup against the other teams leading man. Despite a good effort by the other team as Dan let it fly and hit more than missed with 29 points recorded by the bench , Tommy V was feeling good with 11 points helping out with the teams offensive load. . Streetfighters took the game second half from the Splash and with a big size difference, they went down this time Zac M got the game high in points outscoring everyone with 26 points to lead to victory. . Dirk S owning the glass and taking names in the post with 8 points worth of buckets in the win. Which for this game outshines the effort of, Jeff G weaved through the zone D with some nice footwork finishing on 12 points worth of buckets in the loss.. , Ahmad A ended up with an efficient 11 points on the sheet . Streetfighters 1st unit was able to push through and keep up the pace as Splash hung on for dear life in the 1st half, the 2nd half was all Streetfighters and their inside play mixed with some burying outside shots, the game taken by the end after Zac M ally oop from Lachy that got the crowd off its chair, the momentum with SF and they took the W splitting their last 2 games..
Div 2 had the skill and the plays which the teams used to get that extra advantage that could somehow get them the win…
Killa Beez got a good win on the BUCKETS and set the tone from the start, big mentions to the performers in this game. The Kents got a good win on the Ballers and pushed it all the way to the end. Chris W with an epic performance and great score of 23 points to ensure they get the win this round. Landon M helped out with the load getting 13 points to get over the line. simply out working the other scorers being, Ivan C got a few buckets to go helping out the team with 14 points in this game. Russ F played well as far as getting 13 points in the loss .Kents just too active, too much hustle and too much heart showing the Ballers what spacing and a full court press can do, they had them from the start and kept the lead and pushed for more, Ballers helpless this time, Kents looking super strong if they can keep this up!
