ROUND 5 just got concluded and its featuring all the fresh moves and sick handles that you can handle! A new team in the mix and some new unexpected results that sent the ladder spinning in all Divs!
Div 1 results are in and the rankings switch and start to spread a little as the rank sharing continues till the matchups conclude each week!
Hogz grinded out a win in back and forth match vs Bellambi Bombers and it went to plan as they got a W on the backs of their scorers. Dan W put in some big numbers and got the game high in points notching an impressive 21 points to ensure they get the win this round. . Elliot J had the licence to shoot and put them up to end on 14 points worth of buckets in the win. whilst on the other team, D Lemme just too much experience shooting the 3 with 20 points on the sheet , Campbell F was heating up as he bagged 13 points but that wasnt enough to get his team over the line this time. Hogz were tested well from the start against the new look Bombers crew who came out with some strong drive and dish and clean up around the paint giving them the lead at one point, but only briefly, as Hogz got hot from outside and slipped behind the zone for some sly cuts and easy layups. Hogz got this one and sit in equal 2nd. Bombers in 4th.
Showtime Shooters knew what to expect when they faced Splash in a game that had the winners go on scoring runs that werent answered in time. Jake L Snapping the wrist to perfection finding the bottom of the net for 27 points to shut the defense down. . Brooklyn C slotted in some 3s with some tidy finishes also to get 16 points, a much needed performance as they won the scoring matchup against the other teams leading man. Despite a good effort by the other team as Paul G heat checked after hitting afew shots and kept going, owning this game with a great 27 points recorded by the bench , Liam O 7 & Ahmad A played well as far as getting 7 points helping out with the teams offensive load. Shooters starting thier get their year off in a good way with a win for their first appearance in 2021. Splash had some big shots from outside from Pauly, but the Splash Brothers couldn’t get the same luck on the touch as the missed shots turned into Shooters fastbreak points and that was the decider. Shotoers equal 2nd and Splash in 5th.
MIB started strong and got the jump on Yo Mambas in a game that started close but ended one sided. Dan B couldnt be stopped this game, and couldnt be contained, the D had no answer as he scored a whopping 26 point game to contribute to his teams effort. . Omar N with an epic performance and great score of 16 points worth of buckets in the win. Which for this game outshines the effort of, Jarryd T getting some fadeaways to fall to contribute to the result with 19 points worth of buckets in the loss.. , Ali M played well as far as getting 11 points on the sheet . MIB snap their 3 game losing streak with this sold win on the mid ranked Yo Mambas. The game started nice and close, the edge not taken yet until the MIB forwards got hungry for the hoop and got the cuts and slashing underway. Yo Mambas did well on the mid range, but couldn’t control the glass as Dan B put in a big effort on both ends to secure the MIB victory this time around. MIB are in 3rd tied with they victims this round.
Div 2 had some great games with some very evenly matched teams that just had either good or bad shooting nights, the ranks are getting interesting after this round.
BUCKETS was ready this time around for Sugar Dunkertons who struggled to break the defense to get buckets. Anthony G beasted hard this game finishing on a great 14 points to get over the line. . Matt G finished the game with a commendable 9 points worth of buckets in the win. the only resistance coming from, Jack B was unconscious and had no remorse for the defense piling in 14 points helping out with the teams offensive load. , Jordan K played well as far as getting 8 points but a loss unfortunately . Sugar Ds just took thier first loss of the season in this game, ending their 4 game winning streak…Buckets doing what no one else has done this season yet, beat the Sugar Ds, and it was a game where the fast break was used to put a small but workable lead in the 2nd half which the Sugar Ds just couldn’t compete with, Giggz getting inside and finishing the play over and over making hard work for Sugar Ds defensive set. Buckets in equal 2nd and Sugar Ds still holding the 1st rank!
The Stallions with an amazing finish and win vs Bohica needed every time out to get the result they need, and Thomas K , a huge huge night with a rarely seen display, possible UBL career high! 27 points in the big dominating victory. . Jack G finished the game with a commendable 12 points to get over the line. but on the other side Jayke Z 12 & John J played hard and got the same score on the sheet, with 12 points as he was operating in automatic mode , Muz O kept his eye on the hoop and ended up with 11 points together as they go down in this matchup. . The Stallions snap their 4 game losinng streak with this sold win on the new team THe BOHICA crew who looked like their had the game in the bag, getting their fast break going and some nice outside shots to keep the Stallions on their toes all game. Down to the final play, with seconds left, Stallion drained the clock and passes to the Ice cold Jono Naden who was just too clutch and hit a HUGE 3 on the buzzer to give his team the go ahead bucket and the win! Bohica shoudlve had this one, only to have it snatched from under them by the big shot with no time left! Stallions with in 4th and BOHICA in equal 3rd…
Killa Beez grinded out a win in back and forth match vs CBT , who underestimated the bigs of their opponent and copped a loss for it Dan B the recipient of some nice extra passes for open shots getting him 19 points, a much needed performance as they won the scoring matchup against the other teams leading man. . Mick O going to work down low in the blender. 18 points on the sheet even though from the other team, Tjay & Jasper wore the same jersey and also wore the same score…a 27 points but a loss unfortunately , Sam the recipient of some nice extra passes for open shots getting him 9 points helping out with the teams offensive load. Killa Beez on the swarm again, and going at it undermanned but not caring as the defense piled in. The threes and hook shots got it done as Dan B hit from outside and Mick O had the unstoppable hook, CBT hit some bit outside shots to keep up, but the experience of the KillaBeez veterans won the day and left CBT taking notes for next time they meet. Killa Beez in 2nd and CBT in equal 3rd.
Div 3 had its own set of ups and downs and dramas, good and bad for one team or another. The 1st spot remains, but other ranks switched up!

Whilst on the other team, Ivan C put in some big numbers and got the game high in points notching an impressive 17 points but a loss unfortunately , Russ F ended up with an efficient 8 points as he pitched in to add to the score. Ballers had a nice lead for a bit, and they were doing some good things inside and out, Bricklayers kept up with some nice drives , but the game turner was Jake E putting in 3 downtown bombs in a row to swing the whole game the way of the Bricklayers who held on to the small lead and took down the Ballers to keep their undefeated record and 1st rank. TFC just able to get the win by a bucket or so vs Savvy Suns and knew it would be a test on their troops. Nath D channelled Kobe and wanted the win this time, getting 23 big ones to conlclude the mission . Ben H had his ducks in a line with a great game on 10 points on the sheet which simply outscored the other teams leaders being, Kane M heat checked after hitting afew shots and kept going, owning this game with a great 23 points recorded by the bench , Sam D felt it was time to step up and got 6 points helping out with the teams offensive load. . TFC getting their season cherry popped with a win and a not so nice welcome to the new team Savvy Suns who were keen as to get on the court and get buckets. TFC weren’t going to let this oppourtunity slip and threw everything at them and kept the lead till the final horn. TFC in 6th and Savvy in 7th. Welcome to the League Savvy Suns!
Degen kings took the game in Overtime from the never backing down DinoScores and Degen Kings hustled harder getting the W. Matt B got the game high in points outscoring everyone with 33 points to ensure they get the win this round. Dwayne B kept his average up there for the season with a nice 6 points to get over the line. simply out working the other scorers being, Sam T kept his eye on the hoop and ended up with 16 points in this game. , Doug K getting stats from everywhere including 13 points in the loss . This game had everyone on edge with the bodies flying around going for every loose ball, the action was packed and the defense this game was next level, both teams finding it hard to put runs together, in the end the Degen Kings got up with the paint being attacked all game, a big game in overtime by Matt B to score well and lead the team to victory. Dinoscores were hitting good shots but couldn’t lock down the paint on D leaving some close shots to land and those extra buckets made the difference,… Dinoscores in 2nd and Degen Kings in 5th.
