5th place MIB Started shaky against a loaded up 4th ranked Only Franz in a grind of a game coming right down to the last few minutes to decide the winner. Top scorers in this game were, Shane S ( 20 ) top scoring for his team, & Tim S (18) & Joe K ( 17 ) . The opponents top scorers were; Aiden B ( 22 ) , & Fletch R ( 13 ) . MIB Short-handed but keen to get running and put up some volume shots which went down more than they missed which resulted in a small lead going into the second half which they kept the pressure on and piled in the points Tim, Joe and Shane combining for almost 60 points in the win as they use their mid-range jumpers to bury them in the second half... Aiden and Fletch had some great looks go down and they combined for 35 but the rest needed to dig deep and they weren't able to get their hand up in time on defence and allowed too many jumpers to go down and they took the loss and then early and to their postseason... A great effort from Only Franz This season in their first stint in division 1 they tested many of the top teams but just fell short in this one to a more experienced veteran team that looks hopeful going into the next round

3rd place 50 Shades of Klay werent going to stand down against 6th ranked DAWGS in a game that started close but ended one sided. Top point getters in this game were, Joah FG ( 30 ) leading his team & Teejae K ( 21 ) . The other teams' top scorers were; Alex ( 14 ) , & Roe Epe ( 13 ) . 50 Shades of Klay Doing what they do best and putting in long range threes and pressuring the zone with driving kick offence that work at treat with the shooters they have on the court..Joah and Teejae combined for 51 points as they didn't take their foot off the gas all game despite some heavy defence coming at them.. Alex and Roe put in 27 together for the Dapto Dawgs As they hit their jump shots and kept on putting pressure on the beaks of 50 shades to come out and guide them... The slow start was the killer for their miss time and they just couldn't recover from the sizable deficit in the first half and took the loss...Dawgs Go home in the first round of the playoffs after a pretty solid season taking on some big teams and ranking pretty well in the ladder...50 Shades surge forward into the next round and look to keep up there strong momentum and hopefully get a chip this year...

5th ranked Kings wins a resounding victory over the unlucky 4th place The Pelicans and set the tone from the start, big mentions to the performers in this game. Top performers in this game were, Chris O ( 14 ) leading the way & Brendan W & James F ( 8ea ) . Their opponents had top scorers too, and they were; Matthew N & Matt C ( 6ea ) , & Jedd Ross ( 5 ) . Kings Doing what they do from the mid-range and punishing the pelicans this game with some strong inside play as well from their beaks.. Chris was knocking down his jump shot from the mid-range and from three while Brendan and James collected rebounds and worked the paint to a good advantage that they could use to control the game coming in the first half... Matthew N Matt C and Jedd R put in some hard work and scored well between them to c put up some resistance but they were missing a crucial part of their offence and just weren't able to get things working together in time and took the loss and the early trip home after a great season in a tough division ranking high throughout only to fall short this game unfortunately... The Kings advance to the semi-finals and look to get a chip for their franchise on Wednesdays..

3rd place Team Kopologz Traded buckets most game, but kept a nice buffer all game to close it out vs 6th ranked KSbuckets who werent ready for them this game. Top scorers in this game were, Anakin ( 14 ) getting the team high in points & Christian Cabo ( 11 ) . The opponents top scorers were; Fred ( 14 ) leading his squad , & Matt Davies ( 7 ) . Team Kopologz Started strong and got some great looks from their highly active small forwards.. Anakin and Christian were playing hard and on a mission to win this game and keep their season alive the two of them combining for 25 points in the low scoring game due to all the defence being played... Freddy and Matt D led the way for KS buckets getting 21 combined and also got some help from their deep team of scorers but in the end they weren't able to clamp down on defence and let too many shots go in as well as getting into foul trouble didn't help... KS buckets go home early after this loss and team Kopologz succeed and go on to the semifinals to see if their fate is a championship this season

3rd ranked Fumblerz were pumped to be playing 6th place Team OTX in a game that had the winners go on scoring runs that werent answered in time. Top scorers in this game were, Neale P ( 27 ) getting team high in the win & Austin M ( 14 ) . The opponents top scorers were; Callum C ( 19 ) stepping up for his team , & Sam K ( 13 ) . Fumblerz Putting their heads down and making sure they get the W this game as they took on the relatively new but always hustling boys from Team OTX namely Callum and Sam who were able to put in a very efficient 32 points in the loss as they started cooking at parts of the game and went on some scoring runs but they weren't able to stop the bigger scoring runs from Fumblerz...Neale and Austin were too big and too strong this game getting what they wanted and combining for 41 points in the win despite letting some big jump shots land in their face... Team OTX Unfortunately take the lost this game and go home early after a short stint this season as they tested out their skills in a very competitive division... Fumblerz live on another day and advance to the semifinals as they have in many years previous... Will this season be the season of the Fumblerz?!

4th place Airballers grinded out a win in back and forth match vs 5th ranked BOHICA in and overtime thriller that kept the crowd waiting for the next bucket to close the game Top scorers in this game were, Cayleb Dixon ( 20 ) leading the way & Brody M ( 9 ) . The opponents top scorers were; Grant O'Brien ( 15 ) , & Jayke Zimmermann ( 13 ) . Airballers Starting the game with some energy as the boys got locked in and made sure they kept up in the scoring as Bohica also brought there a game and all their troops to do battle which was working well as the veteran crew was up by one at the half... Both teams going back and forth Caleb and Brody leading the way with almost 30 together as they kept the game close and almost had the win if it wasn't for Macca hitting a solid two-point shot to force overtime... Grant and Jayke we're scoring well all game and put in a big time 28 combined but even there inside outside attacks weren't going to get the job done in overtime as the airballers got a quick bucket and free throws to take this game by four points breaking the hearts of the BOHICA fans As they go home early this season.. Air ballers look hungry and advance to the semifinals where they will test their skills again to see if they Can make it to the grand finals..

6th ranked Bally Drainers started strong and got the jump on 3rd ranked The Block and was victorious this round, thanks to some players putting in work. Top scorers in this game were, Tommy Cusack ( 14 ) leading his team & Jack N, Joel N & Adam M ( 6ea ) . The opponents top scorers were; Corey Bishop ( 13 ) , & Trong Nguyen & Tom Fowler ( 10ea ) . Bally Drainers Doing what it takes to get the job done and this game it was Tommy C who was the hot hand and was leading the offence with his presence on both ends.. He was helped out by Jack Joel and Adam the four of them getting 32 combined which was huge in this game despite Trong Tom and Corey getting 33 combined which outscored them but the Bally Drainers had a few extra buckets from the deep crew which overcame and won this game As the final buzzer sounded.. In the end it was a five-point game and the block were on the wrong end of the result and go home early after an up and down season with great moments They looked to come back next season and establish their dominance early but this time we'll have to settle for a first round exit...Bally Drainers Go on to the next round and look to continue the strong play in this game and hope it flows on to the next and then the one after that if they make it... It's anyone's game!!
