2nd Amigoes went back and worth but held the lead most of the game against 3rd – Hogz whos shooting has been streaky compared to recent times. 1st Grey Geese took the game second half from the 5th – Skyhookers couldnt stop the unselfish offense they were faced with this game. Matt the recipient of some nice extra passes for open shots getting him 16 points stroking it with ease from all parts of the arc. Johnny M kept his eye on the hoop and ended up with 15 points on the sheet the only resistance coming from, Cam B got the game high in points outscoring everyone with 17 points together as they go down in this matchup. Skyhookers go back to the locker room with an L on a less than ideal season from them, they stood up well at the start of this game, but it came crashing down as they look to get a more consistent performance in next season. 1st- Bellambi Bombers kept their structure and managed a W, after being behind most of the game against 5th – BUCKETS who always bring their game. Whilst on the other team, Luke weaved through the zone D with some nice footwork finishing on 16 points in the loss , Anthony G scored well with 8 points, needing a few more to scrape the W. Coming back from being down, the Bombers pushed hard and was able to get aaway with a sneaky win by nto so much as a play or 2 worth of points, the physicality and hustle of the Buckets kept things in range as they were just short of the mark taking down the #1 team in rank this season. Seeya next season Buckets, great effort to come from a lower rank only to get stopped by a great team, Bombers, who will compete against Mates, a test for the boys! But one that they’ve faced before!
