Div 1′ Top teams get a shake up, Hogz still on top but the rest of the ladder is so close!
Showtime Shooters grinded out a win in back and forth match vs Streetfighters and was able to get the much needed win. Brooklyn G 20 and Jake L getting stats from everywhere including 20 big ones to conlclude the mission . Duane beasted hard this game finishing on a great 19 points to get over the line. whilst on the other team, Ray S couldnt miss much as he led his team with 33 points consisting mainly of 3s with some tidy finishes also. , Mitch D finished the game with a commendable 18 points together as they go down in this matchup. Showtime shooters outmuscled and out ran the Streetfighters this game, too many turnovers left the young cats to get hungry on the break and get the W on them for the first time and last time this season as we head to playoffs, Ray S a big night from deep, still not enough for the spread attack from Showtime.
Hogz faced off against the Bellambi Bombers in a grind of a game coming right down to the last few minutes to decide the winner. Aaron P let it fly and hit more than missed with 28 points to shut the defense down. . Dan W also helped out in the win with 13 points to ensure they get the win this round. Despite a good effort by the other team as Andrew B kept his average up there for the season with a nice 21 points recorded by the bench , Peter T played well as far as getting 11 points helping out with the teams offensive load. Bellambi Bombers’ 5 games win streak is over and their rise to the top stops at rank 3.. Hogz still first and looking to keep it that way as they lead by a huge gap, this time it was as close as it was going to get with Bombers up until about 2 minutes when Hogz took over and got a few buckets ahead before closing out and winning…Bombers in 3rd, Hogz still 1st..
Skyhookers started strong and got the jump on BUCKETS needed extra effort and extra passes against the Sam H beasted hard this game finishing on a great 26 points to lead to victory. . Dobbie pitched in to add to the score with, 11 points worth of buckets in the win. Which for this game outshines the effort of, Joe E just too much experience around the paint getting 16 points worth of buckets in the loss.. , Wade D ended up with an efficient 10 points on the sheet . skyhookers back in action and some old faces back on the court gelling and get work done, Xavier Cooks, the Skyhookers from way back jumped on with Sam and it was a flurry of Dunks and buckets, nice display, Buckets did great to limit them, but still just short in the end.
