Div 1 had some close ones and some long ones, with everyone not giving up and pushing it to the end, the action picks up!
Streetfighters needed someone to step up and hit the game winner against Bellambi Bombers and it went to plan as they got a W on the backs of their scorers. Trevor 14 & Mitch getting stats from everywhere including 14 points to ensure they get the win this round. Ray S couldnt miss much as he led his team with 10 points worth of buckets in the win. whilst on the other team, James L was unconscious and had no remorse for the defense piling in 14 points on the sheet , Luke A started scoring later in the game but ended up on 13 points to end his game …what a game this was the Streetfighters were on the back foot but still trading buckets most of the way until the second half when a steady attack in the paint resulted in some nice plays and an eventual draw at the last few moments… After garbage time started it was all up to icing the game from the line, Andy K hit 2 free throws to go up by 2, and Bombers could get the last 3 point shot to land this time…nice matchup nevertheless !!
Skyhookers went back and forth but held the lead most of the game against Showtime Shooters in a physical matchup that will set the tone for next time. Doug H with an epic performance and great score of 32 points to shut the defense down. Oscar S with an epic performance and great score of 15 points to ensure they get the win this round. Despite a good effort by the other team as Bailey VL played well as far as getting 14 points recorded by the bench , Jake L kept his eye on the hoop and ended up with 12 points helping out with the teams offensive load. Skyhookers are getting back to basics as they take down the upstart Showtime shooters giving back the fast pace they were faced with and putting the ball in Dougies hands who was due for a big night unfortunately the shooters were the victims this time despite many great plays… Skyhookers it was, getting the w and now ranked third… Showtime shooters in fifth place…
Hogz ,right out of the gates, jumped on the BUCKETS and hustled harder getting the W. Johnny M let it fly and hit more than missed with 13 big ones to conlclude the mission . Aaron P took a back seat to scoring, but not by much getting 9 points worth of buckets in the win. Which for this game outshines the effort of, Joe E felt it was time to step up and got 18 points worth of buckets in the loss.. Anthony G kept his average up there for the season with a nice 16 points to end his game . Hogz went to work with their usual jump shots from the midrange and threes burying the other team at the start of the game but buckets weren’t having it and kept close for the start with their constant pressure in the paint… Hogz formula was just too strong this time Buckets go down and Hogz all alone sitting First place…
Div 2 ballin hasn’t been this hectic all week, with some results that may confuse or even decide the fate or others, even this eaerly in the season…every win counts!

Splash got their game on early and were keen to get running on the fast break and of course put up threes to make the ballers feel the splash…Ballers still looking for their structure and hope they can find it soon as they drop this game to the second place Splash
Black Cats got a good win on the Bohica , who underestimated the hustle of their opponent and copped a loss for it Sam B focussed on the W, summoned his hustle to put in work for 21 points to ensure they get the win this round. Jack F kept his eye on the hoop and ended up with 12 points on the sheet the only resistance coming from, Matt G & Geoff G combined jersey numbers and scores to put in 20 points from all over the court. Jayke Z also helped out in the win with 11 points in the loss . Black Cats too strong inside and out and as a result now sit in 2nd place…Bohica just not enough weapons tonight to keep up with the black cats attack on the low blocks… Bohica have been playing well lately until this loss and sit in 5th place in the division
Dellys Disciples stood to face Prestige Worldwide and went back to the locker room with a solid Win. Fintan S had a pretty good game scoring wise with 15 points to ensure they get the win this round. Jack M was feeling good with 13 points in this game. Whilst on the other team, Rhys D who ended up with an efficient 6 points together as they go down in this matchup. Jarod 5 & Josh R played well as far as getting 5 points as he pitched in to add to the score. Dellys looking very very good coming out and taking this game second half purely on their athleticism… Prestige weren’t able to mount a run to stop Dellys from getting hot and keeping the momentum all game..
The Fellas shot the lights out against a helpless The Bandicoots who sit low on the ladder and need a streak to come together. Ziv weaved through the zone D with some nice footwork finishing on 16 points to his name as he helps lead the boys to a much needed win. Grant C 11 & Brent played well as far as getting 11 points on the sheet which simply outscored the other teams leaders being, James C scored well but it wasnt enough as he notched 19 points recorded by the bench , Matt P was feeling good with 6 points helping out with the teams offensive load. The Fellas were able to get the W from some slippery handles and sly cuts to the rim leaving the Bandicoots unable to anticipate the next move.. Bandicoots are starting to feel comfortable on the floor and look ready to push up the ladder… Next game maybe…
